The Midnight Walkers Out Today in Early Access

Oneway Ticket Studios is thrilled to announce that its hardcore zombie shooter, The Midnight Walkers, is out today on PC in Steam Early Access.

The Midnight Walkers proved to be a hit during October’s Steam Next Fest, becoming one of the top ten most downloaded demos, and just last week, it surpassed 300,000 wishlists on Steam.

Locked in an enormous multifloor megacomplex during a zombie outbreak, The Midnight Walkers sees players forced into a deadly game of survival by the megalomaniac Mr Nobody. Players not only have to fight off the restless undead, but also their fellow contestants.

In this PvEvE game, players will hunt down valuable loot, and gear across several floors of the Liberty Grand Center, fending off zombies with weapons such as Sledgehammers, Bows, Katanas, and Pistols.

As each game progresses, poison gas spreads throughout the complex, forcing players to flee to new floors via stairwells or elevators, and pushing opposing players into an ever-shrinking safe space. The more enemies nearby, the harder it is to safely extract, ratcheting up the tension as players attempt to leave with their gear and their life — or leave with nothing at all.

Oneway Ticket Studios plans to update The Midnight Walkers throughout its early access period, with new weapons and floors to be added in the future, along with an entirely unique PvE mode planned for release later in 2026.

“We’re thrilled to finally be launching The Midnight Walkers,” said Ray Song, Game Director at Oneway Ticket Studios. “We’re committed to not use Early Access as a shield for incomplete quality, but to build and improve The Midnight Walkers alongside our players. We’re so excited to see players step into the harsh, zombie-filled world of the Liberty Grand Center megacomplex for the first time.”

  • DuckTales & DuckTales 2 (NES): One of Capcom’s biggest hits, play as Scrooge McDuck with a cane that doubles as a weapon and a pogo stick. Explore multi-path levels packed with secrets, surprises and a memorable soundtrack. The sequel is just as fun!
  • Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers & Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (NES): In this early 8-bit co-op platformer starring loveable chipmunk detectives, players work together to navigate levels, collecting acorns, boxes and other items to throw at enemies.
  • TaleSpin (NES): Fly through the skies as Baloo in his plane, The Seaduck, in this side-scrolling shooter. Use quick reflexes and ace piloting skills to dodge enemies and bosses.
  • Darkwing Duck (NES): Fight crime as the winged terror himself, Darkwing Duck, and battle a variety of enemies with a gas gun.

Disney Afternoon Collection fans old and new can pre-order the digital and physical editions starting today via Atari.com and other major retailers. The game will be available digitally on February 26; the physical Switch and Switch 2 editions – featuring game cartridge, sticker sheets, postcards, milk caps and a reversible cover – will ship in May.

Crimson Desert New Featurette Highlights Story, World, and Gameplay

Pearl Abyss has released a new featurette video offering an in-depth look at Crimson Desert, detailing the game’s protagonist, expansive open world and some of the game elements.

This video details story and motivation for Kliff, the game’s main character, and the continent of Pywel, a seamless open world where the story unfolds. Pywel features sprawling wilderness, bustling cities, ancient ruins and diverse regions, all set against a backdrop of escalating conflict and supernatural danger.

Players take on the role of Kliff, a warrior of the Greymanes, a faction from the northern region of Pailune known for its commitment to peace and unity. Crimson Desert begins in the aftermath of that peace being shattered, tasking Kliff with reuniting the Greymanes and reclaiming their homeland. As the journey expands, players discover that the fate of the entire continent is at stake.

A central threat emerges from the Abyss, a mysterious realm whose growing imbalance sends fragments crashing into Pywel. There are those who would exploit these remnants, pushing the world toward chaos. Restoring balance to the Abyss and confronting those who exploit its power become key elements of the narrative.

The featurette also outlines Crimson Desert’s open-world structure. Pywel is divided into five distinct regions: Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia and the Crimson Desert, each offering its own stories, environments and challenges. While the main quest follows Kliff’s journey, players are free to explore the world in any order, taking faction-driven quests, large-scale battles, fortress sieges and smaller, character-focused missions.

As the story progresses, two additional playable characters join Kliff. Each character features unique combat styles, skills and weapons, allowing players to experience exploration and combat in different ways.

Exploration plays a major role, with players able to traverse Pywel on horseback, climb terrain, glide across distances and later access advanced traversal options such as a missile-firing mech and a dragon. The world is filled with hidden treasures, ancient mechanisms, puzzles and points of interest designed to reward curiosity and discovery.

Combat encounters range from enemy soldiers and sorcerers to ferocious beasts and machines, testing players’ adaptability and skill. Powerful artifacts and equipment can be earned through quests, combat or exploration, while knowledge gathered from the world and its inhabitants provides clues and guidance, or even opens paths to acquire new skills.

Pre-orders are now live across PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Game Store and Apple Mac.

LANESPLIT Official Launch Trailer Released

LANESPLIT, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator developed by solo developer FunkyMouse, throws caution to the wind with today’s launch on PC via Steam ahead of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions arriving later this year.

Straddle the line between life and death as brake lights become luminous streaks of bright red and blinding white. Push the throttle to the max while zooming through traffic-filled tunnels. Speed towards colorful skylines, chase the sunset, and navigate low-visibility conditions as night falls on alpine mountains, twisted Tokyo roads, and other maps based on real-life locations.

Mind the weather before making a selection from 15 high-performance motorcycles: dry streets allow for nimble maneuvers, but wet asphalt will call for maximum traction. Test impulsive reflexes and split lanes in Rush Hour mode, or become one with the road in Zen Mode for traffic-free runs. Customize clothing and helmet options, and hit the road running towards the top of global leaderboards by earning high scores from going fast without crashing.

Enter a high-octane flow state while flirting with death as “responsible” drivers merge onto the highway and unexpectedly switch lanes as they abide by the speed limit. Experience the physics, motion blur, and tight controls as the energetic drum-and-bass soundtrack intensifies in volume alongside the speedometer.

“The support LANESPLIT has received from the motorcycle community has been monumental, and I cannot thank them enough for spreading the word about my game,” said Shakya Ranatunga, founder and solo developer at Funky Mouse. “Whether riding solo or with friends, amid rush hour traffic or with the road all to yourself, there is no wrong way to become king of the road here.”

LANESPLIT cuts through tricky traffic to arrive today on PC via Steam for $17.99 with language support in English, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions planned for a later date. For more information, follow developer FunkyMouse on Twitter/X and check out the official YouTube page.
