Warner Bros. Games today announced that the Hogwarts Legacy Summer 2024 update is officially live on all platforms for players who own the game. The update includes an all-new photo mode, new and previously exclusive content, bug fixes and PC driver updates, and a talent reset option, which allows players to experiment with different builds and playstyles.
Included in the update is the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest, which had been exclusive to players on PlayStation and is now available across all platforms. Players will be able to experience this unique quest and earn its associated rewards, such as the dapper Shop Keeper’s outfit and ownership of their own shop in Hogsmeade. The previously exclusive Onyx Hippogriff mount and Felix Felicis Potion Recipe are also now available to all players, as well as the brand-new Azkaban Coat, Azkaban Prisoner’s Outfit, The Glasses That Lived, and Lavender Borealis Broom.
With the new Photo Mode, players will be able to create and capture their own in-game screenshots with a wide range of customization options including exposure, contrast, camera tilt, zoom, depth of field and field of view options. The time of day and season are also adjustable while in Photo Mode, as well as character poses with several options for standing and seated poses. Additionally, players can remove UI and non-player characters and customize their screenshots with house and character themes, frames, crests, and a variety of filters.

Woodland Games and Team17 Digital have today released their medical-horror sim Autopsy Simulator on PC. Stepping into the shoes of a practising pathologist battling his inner demons, players can expect an unsettling atmosphere and gruesome detail as they unravel the mysteries behind each autopsy. Janthir Wilds will go on sale for $24.99 and, like its predecessor Secrets of the Obscure™, have three planned major updates scheduled for release between August 2024 and the summer of 2025. For the first time since launch, a new weapon type will be added for terrestrial combat. The two-handed spear will become available to all nine of the game’s professions. Each profession will use their spear differently, be it ranged or melee, and provide a multitude of new skills to further enhance player skill customization and gameplay builds.
The three planned major future updates will launch at no additional charge and continue to add new experiences: an additional map, a new Raid, new rewards (including new earnable items in the Wizard’s Vault), and a new PvP game mode will arrive in the following months and into 2025.
The expansion’s all-new story begins in the wake of the events of Secrets of the Obscure.
