Monster Jam Showdown – Off-Road Trailer

Monster Jam™ Showdown is about to take players to the untamed American wilderness, as shown in the latest trailer released today by Milestone and Feld Motor Sports, Inc.

Bringing the action outside stadiums and beyond the official competitions, off-road races will have Monster Jam fans entertained for hours. Three original biomes developed within Unreal Engine 5 will grant stunning visuals, with each biome hosting a variety of game types designed to enhance the arcade-like style of the game. Relying on dual-steering to fully control their vehicle, players will find themselves drifting on the snow and ice of Alaskan mountains, zipping through the trees of Colorado forests, or rallying the rocky landscapes of Death Valley’s desert in adrenaline-pumping races.

Be sure to search every corner, as off-road tracks will feature unique layouts with hidden shortcuts and unexpected jumps to allow even the most unlikely overtakes. Along each track, players will encounter destructible objects such as ice blocks or wooden pylons to recharge their boost and roar past the competition. Importantly, extreme weather conditions will make each race even more challenging and dynamic, forcing players to deal with the brute force of mother nature from violent sandstorms to heavy rains and blizzards.

Monster Jam Showdown will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC Aug. 29, 2024, with Early Access available starting Aug. 26, 2024.

NeoSprint – Launch Trailer

Let your engine roar — it’s time to head to the starting line. Last week, Atari — one of the world’s most iconic consumer brands and interactive entertainment producers — announced a shift into high gear as it released NeoSprint onto Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.

Based on the classic Sprint arcade series, NeoSprint puts the pedal to the metal, inviting players to race across colorful, minimalist 3D isometric landscapes. Customize your car of choice and compete in 8-player local multiplayer races. Build, share, and download tracks from the community and compete for the best time.

Atari’s single-screen Sprint series brought multiplayer racing to arcades in the 1970s, complete with steering wheels, gas and brake pedals, and gear shifts. The gem of the series was Sprint 8, which allowed 8 friends to compete in frenzied single-screen action. With NeoSprint, the fun of single-screen co-op racing is reimagined with modern racing sim elements while embracing the series’ lineage.
