Publisher Red Square Games and developer Sylen Studio are thrilled to announce that Sancticide is now available on Windows PC in Steam Early Access. The melee-focused action RPG will spend several months in Early Access before a planned 1.0 launch later this year.
Based on Komornik, the celebrated Polish book series by Michał Gołkowski, Sancticide puts you in control of Ezechiel, as you venture through the last remnants of humanity during the End Times.

The End is here – at long last! Nation states collapsed and went down in flames, brothers rose up against their kin. Instead of a thermonuclear bomb blast, all we got was just a damp firework pop. But worst of all, no-one actually felt like dying, even though the posters and flyers advertising the End promised Life Eternal in bright pastel colors. The system was to be so good as to be perfect – but only on parchment.
As a newly recruited sin collector serving Them at The Top, you have been given your most demanding assignment yet. Engage in fierce, fast-paced combat inspired by old-school arena fighters and modern third-person action games while you cleanse the world of sin during the apocalypse.
Cross paths with a variety of enemies including Sinners, Debtors and Proselytes; the most fanatical minions of Them at The Top. Trust your sacred melee weapons, or wield unholy gear and leverage your environment as you try to outwit your opponents. Customize your character to fit your playstyle and harness Ezechiel’s Purple Powers; a divine force that lets you alter the very fabric of reality. Mix different combinations and skills and experiment as you learn, adapt, and survive the crumbling vestiges of our world!
But remember: how you go about fulfilling your task will make a difference. In Sancticide, all in-game items are categorized as either Kosher (acceptable for Them at The Top) or Unkosher. This mechanic dynamically shapes the player’s journey, influencing side quests, NPC interactions, enemy behaviors, and even accessible areas on the map.
