Rewrite the history of a new front in history’s most destructive conflict in Graveyard of Empires, a new country pack for Hearts of Iron IV. This new add-on to Paradox Interactive’s best-selling grand strategy wargame about World War II focuses on the nations of central and south Asia, each fighting for survival or independence amidst the fires of a global war.
New National Focus trees for four countries add new color and flavor to an alternate history sandbox, where the future is determined by your decisions in a region historically dominated by distant larger powers.
Hearts of Iron IV: Graveyard of Empires includes new content for:
Iran: Iran is a potential great power, hemmed in by the pressure of the Soviet Union and the British Empire. A significant new Focus Tree allows the player to resist the imperial incursions that historically weakened Iran, as well as offering potential for a revived and modern Persian Empire in the heart of Asia.
India: The Raj is the jewel of the British Empire, rich and strategically vital. However, a growing independence movement threatens to disrupt the war effort and dissolve the empire. A large focus tree focused on the struggle of Indian Independence offers many alternate historical paths, including the revival of the East India Company as a corporate nation, as well as the possible freedom of the Princely States, restoration of the Mughal Empire and more.
Iraq: Take control of this British client state and try to chart your own path, embracing the calls for pan-arab nationalism and siding with the axis against the allies. Manage the many competing ethnic and religious factions in Iraq and develop the strategically important oil fields.
Afghanistan: The historic Graveyard of Empires, isolated from the wider war, offers many alternate paths. Continue the historical path of neutrality and isolation, or choose the road of rapid industrialization and building a new power in the mountains of Central Asia.
Hearts of Iron IV: Graveyard of Empires also includes new art, with more leader portraits, infantry models and unit models.
Hearts of Iron IV: Graveyard of Empires is available now for the suggested retail price of $14,99/ £12.79/ €14.99 and is also available as a part of the Hearts of Iron IV Expansion Pass.
On April 8, Arrow Video releases The Long Kiss Goodnight, the amnesiac spy thriller from acclaimed director Renny Harlin (Deep Blue Sea, Die Hard 2) and screenwriter Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Iron Man 3). The limited-edition release features a brand new 4K restoration approved by Renny Harlin in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) on 4K UHD with hours of special features.
Samantha Caine (Thelma & Louise’s Geena Davis) appears to live a normal life in a small Pennsylvanian town as a schoolteacher with a daughter (Yvonne Zima, Our Flag Means Death) and a nice boyfriend. The only problem is, she can’t remember anything beyond eight years ago when she washed up on a beach, pregnant with her daughter. Her past is about to catch up with her when private investigator Mitch Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson, Pulp Fiction) uncovers a major clue to her real identity. It turns out Samatha had an extraordinary life before her big blackout and it’s all coming back to her during the Christmas holidays.
The special features include audio commentaries with Walter Chaw, Drusilla Adeline, and Joshua Conkel; video interviews with stunt coordinator Steve Davidson, make-up artist Gordon J. Smith, and actress Yvonne Zima; visual essays by film scholar Josh Nelson, critic/filmmaker Howard S. On April 29, Arrow Video delivers a definitive collection of iconic Japanese crime films with V-Cinema Essentials: Bullets & Betrayal, a 5-disc, nine-film set on Blu-ray. Starting in 1989, the legendary Toei Studios began producing movies for VHS and other home video formats under their V-Cinema label. By avoiding the ratings board process for a cinematic release, filmmakers working in V-Cinema had creative freedom to be extreme when it came to violence, gore, and eroticism. The Limited-Edition release features nine of the best titles of the era presented in 1080p, and packed with special features – making this the perfect primer for the best genre you didn’t know.
Crime Hunter: Bullets of Rage was the first V-Cinema release and introduced the studio’s new approach to films. A rogue cop looking to avenge the death of his police partner teams up with a gun-packing nun that wants the same killer for ripping off her church’s collection plate.
Shô Aikawa (Takashi Miike’s Rainy Dog) is the newest member of a yakuza family who is ordered to take part in a retaliatory hit job but is faced with a big decision when his fellow family members abandon him in Neo Chinpira: Zoom Goes the Bullet. The movie also stars Joe Shishido (Gate of Flesh) as his uncle.
Stranger, directed by Shunichi Nagasaki (Shikoku), pumps up the paranoia as a female taxi driver is being followed by a stranger in an SUV during her late shift and fears it has something to do with her nefarious past.
Carlos features a Brazilian-Japanese crook under the impression that he can outsmart rival yakuza families and pit them against each other, but he doesn’t quite cover all the angles. Burning Dog centers on a thievery ring eager to pull off a major heist on the U.S. military base on Okinawa, but the one thing they didn’t plan for was the betrayal of each other.
Female Prisoner Scorpion: Death Threat revives the hit movie series with a female assassin hired to go undercover in a prison to release the infamous Scorpion from a subterranean cell.
When his girlfriend is turned into a human shield during a yakuza shootout, a man submerges into the underground for revenge in The Hitman: Blood Smells Like Roses. The film was directed by the legendary Teruo Ishii who also helmed Shogun’s Joy of Torture, Orgies of Edo, and Abashiri Prison.
Danger Point: The Road to Hell stars Shô Aikawa (The Eel) and Joe Shishido (Branded To Kill) as a pair of contract killers who find their partnership in question after their most recent hit. Makiko Kuno (Mari’s Prey) has been trained by a blind priest to be a contract killer for the church, but her latest target awakens her in XX: Beautiful Hunter.
The special features include introductions on all films by Japanese film critic Masaki Tanioka; newly filmed interviews with Crime Hunter: Bullets of Rage director Shundo Okawa, Neo Chinpira: Zoom Goes the Bullet writer-director Banmei Takahashi, Stranger writer-director Shunichi Nagasaki, Carlos writer-director Kazuhiro Kiuchi; and XX: Beautiful Hunter screenwriter Hiroshi Takahashi; brand new video essays; original trailers for most of the films; nine postcard-sized art cards; and an illustrated collector’s booklet featuring new writing by Earl Jackson, Daisuke Miyao, and Hayley Scanlon.

Unlock access to higher-tier maps, where only the strongest Seekers survive. Powerful foes and rival teams stand between players and Skyveil’s greatest treasures. Critical Role, a leader in innovative, cross-platform storytelling, today announced Weird Kids, an original podcast video series starring Critical Role founders and lifelong weird kids Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Blindspot) and Taliesin Jaffe (Hellsing, The Legend of Vox Machina). Premiering March 20, Weird Kids is an intimate, hilarious, and tug-on-your-heartstings exploration into the experiences of former child actors navigating the entertainment industry, and, well, life.
Long before they were nerdy-ass voice actors, Johnson and Jaffe were child actors navigating the unpredictable world of Hollywood. Johnson landed her breakout role at just six years old as Chrissy Seaver on the hit sitcom Growing Pains. She went on to appear in live-action hits such as The Avengers, Fast Food Nation, and The Killing, with key voice acting roles in Recess, Teen Titans, Ben 10, King of the Hill, Infinity Train and more—all before becoming one of gaming and animation’s most recognizable voices. Meanwhile, Jaffe made his big-screen debut alongside Michael Keaton in Mr. Mom and appeared in numerous hit television series including The Facts of Life, St. Elsewhere, and She’s the Sheriff, earning two Young Artist Awards along the way.
Now, after years in front of the camera, behind the mic, and shaping the world of Critical Role, they’re reflecting on some of the wild, weird, challenging, and wonderful experiences that only child actors can truly understand.
“We wanted to create a space where we could share the ridiculous, surreal, and deeply personal stories that come with growing up in the industry,” said Ashley Johnson. “Weird Kids is for anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t quite fit in—and we can’t wait for people to join us at the table.”
Blending candid storytelling, humor, and nostalgia, Weird Kids is part hilarious confession, part heartfelt reflection, and all-around love letter to anyone who has ever felt like an outsider. For Johnson and Jaffe, being weird wasn’t just a personality trait—it was a way of life. Our resident weird kids pull back the curtain on what it was really like to be a kid in the industry—navigating behind-the-scenes chaos, forming friendships with fellow young actors, and learning to embrace their quirks in a world that often demanded they fit a mold. Through insider stories, bizarre childhood moments, and offbeat humor, Weird Kids delivers raw conversations, genuine heart, and plenty of laughs, making it a must-listen for both pop culture lovers and Critical Role fans alike.
“Weird Kids is a bit of nostalgia, a bit of history, plus a helping of personal issues and the inevitable eccentric trauma that comes along with it,” shared Taliesin Jaffe. “I’m proud to bring you the conversational equivalent of watching a vintage moped run head first into the back of a comically 1930s produce truck.“
To celebrate the premiere, Ashley Johnson and Taliesin Jaffe will host a LIVEWeird Kids launch party on Thursday, March 20th at 7PM PT via Beacon (beacon.tv), YouTube (youtube.com/criticalrole), and Twitch (twitch.tv/criticalrole). The live stream will share behind-the-scenes details about the making of the show, a Q&A with fans, and the premiere episode of the Weird Kids series. The video-on-demand will then officially release Tuesday, March 25th at 5AM Pacific on Beacon, YouTube, and podcast platforms.
After this, new episodes will be released every Tuesday at 5AM Pacific, exclusively on Beacon, where subscribers will also gain access to extended cuts and bonus content. You can also catch bite-sized moments from the show on Instagram @theweirdkidspod and YouTube @TheWeirdKidsPod. Plus, keep an eye on Beacon and Critical Role’s social channels for additional content rolling out periodically.

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the “Hornet’s Sting” major content update for the military online shooter War Thunder will be released in mid-March. Three iconic maps will receive massive visual updates, and dozens of new military vehicles will join the fight. Some of the most interesting additions are the F/A-18 fighter jet, Hopkins Mk.I light tank, and HMS Warspite battleship.
The F/A-18 Hornet carrier-based fighter jet that has been used in most military conflicts where the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps have been involved in, including Libya, the Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm, the Balkans and Afghanistan. In addition to the United States, other countries have operated the F/A-18 Hornet, including Canada, Finland, Australia, Kuwait and some more. It was also widely featured in popular culture, including blockbuster movies.
The Hornet’s Sting update will bring American F/A-18A and F/A-18C variants, as well as Finnish F/A-18C, all of them featuring a bit different set of available weapons and combat systems. One of those is the Walleye II ER/DL guided bomb equipped with a thermal imaging homing head.
The Mk VIII Light Tank, the Harry Hopkins, was designed in late 1941 in order to replace the Mk VII Tetrarch, with the primary goal of increasing the overall armor protection. It features 38 mm of armor on the turret and hull, with the latter having some decent sloping, enough to stop hits from some of the weaker shells, which is more than most light tanks can boast. AP shells of its fast-firing 40 mm cannon can get through a max of 89 mm of armor, and the APHE can be similarly destructive.
Advance to the Rhine, Sinai and Jungle have all undergone major visual overhauls. Artists have replaced the models with better looking and more authentic ones, updated the textures, added more vegetation and decorative elements, while preserving the overall layout and design. For example, a railway and telegraph line have been added between the main combat areas and the water channel in Sinai. The Jungle map also received gameplay improvements, offering more balanced terrain traversal options.
More information on Hornet’s Sting update is available on the official website of the game.
