Fathom Events Unveils Halloween Thrills for October

It’s the spookiest month of the year. As we countdown to Halloween, Fathom Events has a month of scary, suspenseful, and super-fun features coming this October – seven in all. So, gather your ghouls & head on down to your local cinema. Load up on candy & distance in the dark. There’s something for everyone at the movies from Fathom Events.

Fathom recently kicked-off the October festivities with one of the most popular horror films of all time, “Friday the 13th 40th Anniversary,” which continues on the on the 9th and 10th. Next up is TCM’s Big Screen Classic’s series presentation of “Psycho” 60th Anniversary (The Uncut Version), followed by TCM’s “The Shining” 40th Anniversary, “Memories of Murder” from Academy Award® winning director Bong Joon Ho, “RiffTrax: Jack-O” from the stars of the classic MST3K, and TCM’s “Ghost” 30th Anniversary. Operation: Breakaway’s new co-op game mode is Outpost, designed for fast, fun and frenetic defensive action. Today’s release into early access marks the beginning of a long journey toward full launch. Working directly with the community, the team will continuously iterate and improve upon the game, adding new content along the way. RPGs this large, with so many permutations, thrive from feedback as new features and fixes are incrementally added to the game. Early access gives players a chance to participate in development and gives the team an opportunity to explore different game ideas with a live community.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is an expansive, cinematic, player-driven RPG based on 5e D&D. It features a rich character creation system where players can create an avatar based on 16 different D&D races and subraces, select their cantrips, skills and abilities, and enter a world where their actions truly define the story. With a parasite planted in their brains, players wake up aboard a burning Nautiloid ship racing across hell at the center of an epic fight between Mind Flayers and red dragons. And that’s just the very beginning of this journey. Players will encounter many challenges upon their return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale about fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival — and the lure of absolute power.

Baldur’s Gate 3 expands on Larian’s award-winning narrative gameplay through the advent of cinematic storytelling and with dice rolls for key decisions throughout the game, in and out of combat. Dialogue options often have multiple responses, some of which may require a dice roll to succeed, defined by both luck as well as the attributes of the player character, or the circumstances of the situation.

The Forgotten Realms are a vast, detailed and diverse world, and there are secrets to be discovered all around. Verticality is a vital part of exploration. Players can sneak, dip, shove, climb, and jump as they journey from the depths of the Underdark to the glittering rooftops of the Upper City. How you survive, and the mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

TNT Celebrates Final Season of Supernatural with Two Marathons

WarnerMedia comes together to celebrate the final season of The CW and Warner Bros. Television’s Supernatural with two special marathons on TNT.

On October 6-8, TNT will air the first 13 episodes of Season 15, providing fans with the opportunity to catch up on the final season.

Additionally, on November 19 from 5:00am to 8:00pm ET/PT, TNT will host a 15-hour Supernatural marathon as a countdown to the two-hour series finale event, airing later that evening on The CW. Enjoying many of the upgrades found on the full-sized BlackWidow V3, the BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless is available with either Razer Green Mechanical Switches or Razer Yellow Mechanical Switches, and features the same built-in cable routing options within the chassis design.

Fantastic Fest and Fangoria are excited to announce a watch party for “Welcome to the Blumhouse” a series of unique, unsettling thrillers produced by Amazon Studios and Blumhouse Television with an eye towards original genre storytelling from a diverse set of casts and filmmakers. Featuring exclusive post-screening Q&As with each filmmaker, the Prime Video watch parties will kick-off with THE LIE on October 10 and BLACK BOX on October 11, followed by NOCTURNE on October 17 and EVIL EYE on October 18.

A new trailer and poster from 20th Century Studios’ upcoming feature film “Free Guy” debuts today. Ryan Reynolds stars as a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, and decides to become the hero of his own story—one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way, before it is too late.

Also starring Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, “Free Guy” is directed by Shawn Levy from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn.
