Ex-Evil Exes Join The Fray In Scott Pilgrim EX – Two New Playable Characters Revealed

Lucas takes a break from Hollywood stardom to lay the smack down on any baddies standing in his way, with grappling prowess and a fully-weaponized skateboard (meaning he hits people with it). In Scott Pilgrim EX, members of Toronto’s coolest band, Sex Bob-omb, are kidnapped and their instruments stolen as the city is terrorized by demons, vegans and robots. Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers and other unlikely allies including Lucas and Roxie must bash their way across the city, from its streets to its beaches and maybe even back in time to save the band, the city and the world. A total of seven playable fighters will be featured, with Scott and Ramona set to gain more confirmed allies ahead of Scott Pilgrim EX’s release.

Battle it out across a wild, video game warped Toronto with bursting colors and deep-cut Scott Pilgrim references, completing quests while defeating the gangs that rule over different parts of the city. Enemies can be dispatched with each character’s unique, upgradable toolkit, or with different items found in the game’s highly interactable environment, from baseball bats to demonic rods, turnips and more. This year, Metal Fest rolls out four one-of-a-kind Premium tanks, each inspired by a classic KISS character: The Demon, The Starchild, The Spaceman, and The Catman. For the first time in its three-year history, Metal Fest is introducing an all-new “Rush the Stage” mode on a map designed especially for this event. The mode will run for two weeks, with players charging into battle in World War II tanks during the first week and Cold War tanks during the second. The objective is to capture three bases and destroy enemy tanks to earn points—the first team to reach 1,000 points wins and takes home great prizes! Train Sim World 6 Unveiled

Train Sim World 6 is coming! Following the initial reveal of the title in July, today Dovetail Games hosted the Dovetail Direct showcase, officially announcing all the shiny new trains, routes and features that train fans can look forward to when the game arrives. Train Sim World 6 launches on Sept. 30, 2025 (Sept. 25 for Deluxe/Special Edition pre-orders), for Windows PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems and is available to pre-order now!

This year, players can “Expect the Unexpected” with a key new feature: the introduction of toggleable random events and train faults to ensure no two services ever feel the same. From signal delays to speed restrictions, players must stay alert to overcome unpredictable challenges. The game will guide players through resolving these unpredictable events, to get back under way and on to their destinations.

Continuing the “unexpected” theme are new routes and trains for the series. In the USA, it’s off to the east coast with NJ TRANSIT® through the New Jersey suburbs in both ageing and modern traction. UK players can experience the thrill of coastal running along the Riviera Line, often described as one of the most beautiful stretches of railway in Britain. This route also marks the long-awaited return of the GWR brand to the series. In Europe, players can drive beyond the horizon between Dresden and Leipzig, Europe’s largest railway station, with a full variety of freight, passenger, high-speed and shunting services available.

For the first time, brand-new trains will be available in the Deluxe Edition for all three routes: the much-requested CrossCountry Voyager, dual-power ALP-45 locomotive and hefty BR 294 shunter. The Special Edition includes all content from the Standard and Deluxe Editions, plus five back catalogue routes and their respective trains spanning a wider selection of countries, including Austria, the Netherlands and Wales.

Adding to the immersion is the full implementation of passenger and platform announcements, with station stops and train departures audibly declared in the three core routes.

Matt Peddlesden, Train Sim World 6’s Executive Producer, said, “We’ve been keen to listen to players in our recent surveys and feedback to give them the features and content they’ve been asking for. Random events and audible announcements have been at the top of their list for some time, and we can’t wait for players to experience them in new routes and trains that they’ve also been requesting.”

Players will be able to try Train Sim World 6 for free with the game’s Free Starter Pack, available from launch until November 11, 2025. This includes steam, diesel and electric locomotives within the Training Center demo route, along with tutorials and tasks to complete.

In addition, today’s showcase announced that the series will also be exploring new horizons with several future Train Sim World 6 add-ons, covering routes in new countries such as Portugal and Czechia, as well as a new route in the USA and a first look at gameplay for the Japanese Tadami Line. As usual, players will be able to bring their existing collection of routes and trains over to Train Sim World 6.
