Fantastic Fest 2024 opens with a bang, featuring the world premiere of THE RULE OF JENNY PEN from director James Ashcroft. Geoffrey Rush stars as a judge who finds himself in a nursing home after an unexpected health scare, where he encounters a bizarre resident (played by John Lithgow) hellbent on terrorizing the patients. Fantastic Fest 2024’s opening night gala will include Lionsgate’s horror psychological thriller NEVER LET GO. Rapturous Restorations and Other Rarities
Once again, we are partnering with our friends at the American Genre Film Archive to bring a selection of restorations to the festival, including the world premiere of the new restoration of Satanic panic horror artifact SATAN WAR, a screening of the only 35mm print(s) in existence of Johnnie To’s 1990s action masterpiece, THE MISSION, and two on-theme carnival horror films: THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES WHO STOPPED LIVING AND BECAME MIXED UP ZOMBIES, and CARNIVAL OF BLOOD.
Formed in 2009, the American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to preserving the legacy of genre movies through collection, conservation, and distribution.

Kalan Raiders Fleet DLC – The Kalan Raiders Fleet Pack for War Games is now available for individual purchase or for those who purchased the Year One Pass. This new faction lets players wield unique fleet compositions to explore powerful new strategic options. For example, the Capture Fleet focuses on using ships and mechanics to capture enemy units to bolster the fleet. Meanwhile, the Raider Fleet can produce a mix of Hiigaran and Kalan ships. Players will also receive new artifacts and challenges as well as a new faction emblem.

New Wild Target: Hellborn
An amalgam of fire and flesh and a source of immense heat, the Hellborn can be tracked audibly by listening in Dark Sight.
Boiled up from the depths of Mammon’s Gulch, this new Wild Target can be found at multiple locations, stalking the land until provoked into explosive response.
Posing an entirely new threat, the Hellborn moves frantically to slag trespassing Hunters, scorching everything in its considerable reach.
Be warned—the Hellborn is best dispatched quickly, as its raging howls attract the attention of other Hunters across the Gulch, multiplying the threat minute by minute.
Scorched Earth
Hidden beneath the lush forests and soaring hilltops, Corruption boils from the mines and oil wells below the surface. Unlock more of the Mammon’s Gulch story via the in-game Scorched Earth Event.
Running from August 15 – October 7, Hunters are invited to face the fire to earn new equipment, ammo, and weapons, including the 1865 Carbine, the Infantry 73L base rifle with a sniper variant, Bear Traps as a new Tool, and more.
We’re also welcoming a completely new Weekly Challenge system to better support players joining the action mid-event, as well as a Battle Pass full of both free and premium rewards to unlock.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the supernatural slasher film A Nightmare on Elm Street from New Line Cinema and renowned horror director Wes Craven, the 1984 film will be available for purchase Digitally in 4K Ultra HD on October 1 and on 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc on October 15.
A Nightmare on Elm Street, which spawned a franchise and introduced audiences to iconic horror villain Freddy Krueger, will be available to purchase on Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc online and in-store at major retailers and available for purchase Digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Fandango at Home and more.
The 4K UHD remaster of A Nightmare on Elm Street includes both the 1984 theatrical version of the film and an uncut version of the film that includes 8 seconds of additional unrated footage.
