Discover fully-simulated cities of crime & corruption and become a renowned private investigator in Shadows of Doubt, an immersive sandbox detective sim, launching April 24 on Steam Early Access.

Think like a detective and investigate crimes on your path to catching a serial killer, using a variety of gadgets to crack each case. The partnership was revealed at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase with a new gameplay trailer. Play as a cute, hungry possum in fast-paced, arcade-action chaos, trying to devour as much food as possible without getting caught by the guard dogs determined to halt your feast! Survival: Fountain of Youth, the single-player survival game set in the 16th-century Caribbean islands from developer Odinsoft and publisher Twin Sails Interactive, casts off for a worldwide Steam Early Access launch on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, as revealed during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2023. Join Juan Ponce de Leon’s 16th-century Spanish expedition in search of the mythical fountain of youth. Stranded off the coast of the Caribbean islands following a shipwreck, fight for survival against the harsh elements, diseases, exhaustion, and other unforeseen hazards while traversing breathtaking locations in hopes of finding fellow crewmates and a means of escape.

Explore a diverse island ecosystem while scavenging for supplies, crafting tools, and hunting game. Gather resources to create stone spears, single-shot handguns, and more weapons to take down giant lizards, wild ox, and even fearsome leopards. Discover raw materials to assemble campfires, bedding, shelter, and other creature comforts to stay alive. Meticulously manage resources to conserve food, maintain supplies to treat injuries, and do whatever it takes to stay healthy. Be aware of the weather and time, as temperatures dropping after dark will require fire or shelter for warmth, while the sun’s blistering heat can cause extreme fatigue and dehydration.

Resident Evil 4 joins Leon S. Kennedy six years after his hellish experiences in the biological disaster of Raccoon City. The infected Ganado have new ways to attack, chase, and outflank Leon with staggering speed and ferocity. In order to walk the razor thin line between survival and a grim fate, Leon’s arsenal of weapons and close combat maneuvers now include stealth, the ability to parry enemy attacks, and delivering finishing blows with his knife. The changes to gameplay also bring an added emphasis on more meaningful player choice. Witchfire Spell System Trailer

Today the independent design studio The Astronauts released a scorching new gameplay video showcasing the spellcraft of their upcoming dark fantasy shooter Witchfire. Featuring commentary from senior game designer Karol Krok, the video displays the different types of elemental magic available to witch hunters on the prowl, which will allow players to unleash an arsenal of spells, hexes, and curses upon their enemies.

Spellcraft is designated into two distinct categories: light spells and heavy spells. The former are quicker to deploy and cost less stamina to use, but don’t do as much damage as their heavier counterparts. In the gameplay video, we can see the witch hunter execute a fearsome heavy spell that summons a phantom bell capable of stunning nearby enemies when properly shot.

Krok also reveals the four core elements that comprise the majority of spells and magic within the game: water, earth, fire and air. Each has its own unique properties—setting enemies aflame increases the amount of damage they can take, for example—and utilizing different elemental spells in quick succession can achieve powerful combined effects. Ultimately, the wide variety of spellcraft available to the witch hunters is just as vital as their arsenal of guns, and both will be crucial for any soul brave enough to conquer the Land of the Witch.

From the creators of Painkiller and Bulletstorm, Witchfire is a first-person shooter set in a dark fantasy world in which a deadly war rages between powerful witches and the Church. In this alternate reality, witches are very real and very dangerous— but so is the witch hunter. Armed by Vatican sorcerers, players wield an infernal array of guns and forbidden magic as they combat dark terrors on behalf of their shadowy benefactors.

After shifting development from arena-style fighting to open-level combat, Witchfire is on track for a release to Early Access this year.
