Today, Keen Games debuted a new deep-dive gameplay trailer for the upcoming co-op survival-crafting action RPG Enshrouded, providing players with a deeper look at the games’ combat mechanics as part of a dedicated video series showcasing the core pillars of combat, building and survival.
The first deep-dive introduces players to the harsh and unforgiving world of Enshrouded, which is filled with dangers among the ruins of the lost kingdom and the wretched fog that consumed the world. Players have to fight to survive by locking on to their target, studying the enemies’ attack pattern and blocking or parrying incoming attacks. Once the enemy’s stamina is fully depleted, players can unleash a merciless attack — a devastating blow dealing massive damage to the target.
Enshrouded features a wide variety of powerful weapons to support different play styles. Light melee weapons like swords and heavy melee weapons like hammers and axes enable players to deal with enemies in close-quarter combat, while bows and different types of arrows allow for ranged attacks. Wands are suited for quick shots of elemental magic coming from a distance, and staffs create heavy magic attacks best suited for groups of enemies.
As players explore the world, they will encounter the many different enemy factions that inhabit the remnants of the lost kingdom. The wildlife is dangerous, inhabitants that were consumed by the mysterious fog turned into the Fell, scavengers are scouring through the lands, and wild beasts pose a threat to all who dare to approach them.
In Enshrouded, preparation and strategy are key. Taking advantage of buffs, food and potions and being mindful of enemy types, is essential in conquering more challenging enemy camps. Additionally, players can penetrate enemy outposts using their grappling hook to scale enemy walls, dig tunnels through their defenses or surprise foes from above by gliding into battle.

A looming shadow casts over the cursed village Luna Nova. Will you repel the impending horrors of the night, or become the next victim of an endless hunt? Villainous Games Studio is thrilled to announce their latest nightmare, Horror Stories: Harvest Hunt. Players can delve into the stealth survival horror experience with a demo debuting during Steam Next Fest on June 19th.
Horror Stories: Harvest Hunt is a single-player stealth survival horror game that blends the replayability of roguelites with the tension found across the horror genre. Step into the role of an appointed Warden tasked with gathering precious ambrosia throughout a sinister, nonlinear environment to find salvation. The impending nightmare of the Devourer lurks throughout the fields, so a strategic execution and a steady heartbeat are vital if Wardens hope to see daylight once again.
Each night of the hunt delivers a unique and chilling experience. Strategic decision-making and adaptability are the keys to survival when facing the Devourer. Before each night of the harvest, Wardens must decide how much health they are willing to sacrifice in order to gain advantageous tools found across the Farmlands of Luna Nova. As the moon rises on each night, cards are drawn to determine the fate of the Wardens. Cards may bring peculiar abilities, a bit of welcomed luck, and modifiers that affect both the environment and the Devourer alike.
From the unearthly soundscapes to the ghastly surroundings, Horror Stories: Harvest Hunt features a bone-chilling atmosphere for Wardens to embrace. Delve into the horrors of the dense, hand-drawn environments backed by an unnerving score from composer Jeff Broadbent (Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed). Become lost in the darkness, unaware of what lies in the shadows ready to strike.
Begin the hunt for salvation when Horror Stories: Harvest Hunt arrives on PC in 2023. Wardens eager to embrace the horrors of the night may do so with a demo debuting during Steam Next Fest on June 19th. Wishlist Horror Stories: Harvest Hunt on Steam today, or suffer at the hands of the Devourer.
