Fulqrum Publishing and Karaclan conjure up a story trailer for VED, a story-driven RPG featuring a unique turn-based combat system set in a vivid world full of magic. The award-winning title is the first game from Karaclan, a small indie studio formed by the Babadzhan brothers, three artists based in Lithuania, and will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GoG in 2024.
In VED, you take the role of Cyrus, a young hero who comes to the city of Micropolis in search of a new life. Europe is represented by a brand-new country for Train Sim World with Austria and the Vorarlberg Line winding its way through stunning mountains and Alpine towns. Popular national operator ÖBB brings its 4024 Talent EMU to whisk passengers across the border between Austria and Germany.
Train Sim World 4: Deluxe Edition brings with it the standout railway content, with the inclusion of the world- famous Flying Scotsman steam locomotive, courtesy of the National Railway Museum and the state-of-the-art Railpool BR 193 Vectron for use on an additional route that’s included – the upgraded Dresden – Riesa Add-on.
Operating this wide range of trains and routes is made easier with the introduction of Ease of Access functions, like simpler locomotives in Training Center, scoring changes and accessibility improvements, as well as haptic controller functionality for console players.
For PC players on Steam and Epic Games Store, the introduction of the fabled PC Editor (beta) means that skilled and ambitious players can use the same development tools as Dovetail Games to dream up their own gameplay, trains and even new routes. The Walking Dead first launched in 2003 from Image Comics and garnered critical acclaim and an escalating sales track-record before Hollywood picked up the hot IP and the series was adapted from TV by AMC in 2010. It was also in 2010 that Kirkman teamed up with David Alpert to launch the multiplatform entertainment company, Skybound Entertainment, which would expand his—and others’—IP beyond comics into other mediums. The Walking Dead has since gone on to become a pop culture phenomenon inspiring everything from hit video games, novelizations, merchandise, and a multitude of multimedia spin-offs across the walker universe. The series has sold over 45 million copies across multiple formats and has been translated into 21 languages globally.
