Wargaming, the award-winning online game developer and publisher, proudly marks the 10th anniversary of the console hit World of Tanks Modern Armor. The celebration of World of Tanks Modern Armor’s 10-year anniversary will last throughout 2024! The festivities kicked off on February 6, when new Celebration War Chests made their debut, and all players were invited to participate in the Anniversary: Big X Community Op that can result in them earning two free tanks: the new Lago M38 and the classic T-34-88. Additional 10-year Celebrations rewards will become available starting on February 13, including Garage Gear, and – just for veteran players – a free or heavily discounted Tier X MBT-B tank.
The game’s celebrations also include the ability to earn monthly 10-year Celebrations rewards tied to special themed events. Accessed via the exclusive Celebrations companion website, the year of challenges culminates in the ultimate prize of two yet-to-be-revealed Premium vehicles: a World War II tank and a Cold War tank.
World of Tanks Modern Armor will introduce new tanks for players to earn and upgrade this year. It includes a new Tech Tree line featuring German light tanks and tank destroyers for Cold War mode starting in February, as well as a new World War II Tech Tree line coming this spring.
“Our players love having new tanks added to the game,” said lead designer Brenden McCormack, “There is no better way to celebrate them and our game than by adding more free content for players to earn.”

This brand new DLC for MX vs ATV Legends will include 16 official tracks of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, which means a ton of content, with the first drop happening on February 20, 2024.

Now that Enshrouded has launched into Early Access, developers Keen Games are excited to share some tips and tricks for the many players who have embarked in Embervale or plan to soon. The team is immensely grateful for all the player feedback and plans to reveal the roadmap for the next months for Early Access soon. They also thank the community for seeing Enshrouded reach the top 10 of both Top Selling and Most Played Steam Charts, as well as reaching over one and a half million players in the days following Early Access Launch.
With Enshrouded now in Early Access, the team is excited to share some of their favourite tips and tricks with players to ensure they have the most enthralling experiences possible while exploring Embervale. The video describes some of the many ways players can maximize their success. Abilities and skills can be added by spending skill points, gained by experience — whether it be through combat (by choice or by accident), mining, or expanding your map, grinding feels less monotonous. Making friends with specific NPCs will allow you to upgrade your gear depending on your playstyle. They also share environmental tips to assist in foraging ingredients, such as resin. Remember: if it’s green, the resin is lean – if it’s brown, many resin fall down! Finally, a few words on taking on the different kinds of Shroud and ensuring your friends don’t fall to the same fate. Second-hand gear can give them a helping hand (plus, friends don’t let friends adventure underdressed.)
SAG-AFTRA has rolled out a new tiered video game agreement that provides game developers access to union talent on their projects. The Tiered-Budget Independent Interactive Media Agreement covers games with production budgets between $250,000 and $15 million.
“This committee and I were proud to introduce the original Low Budget Agreement in 2016 to cover the indie games space because it is so full of energizing experimentation and wonderfully heart-forward storytelling. Working with these teams can be deeply rewarding and I’m thrilled with the updated and expanded tiered structure in the new agreement, which will capture more of this work. I’m excited for my fellow performers, and excited that developers will have access to my amazing union peers,” said Interactive Media Negotiating Committee Chair Sarah Elmaleh.
“Independent studios and small-to-mid-sized projects are a driving force propelling innovation and creativity in the video game industry. This new contract provides them an opportunity to work with some of the world’s top performers,” said SAG-AFTRA National Executive Director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland. “Many SAG-AFTRA members also have a built-in fan base that passionately follows their work and expands a game’s potential audience.”
