Simulation experts Aerosoft announce that their Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System will be available in the Aerosoft Shop from 31 October 2024 at the price of 399.99 euros. Included in the scope of delivery is the steering wheel specially made for truck and bus simulators as well as a gearshift unit and a set of three pedals to ensure the highest possible level of driving realism.

The Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System can be pre-ordered until 31 October in the Aerosoft Shop with a 14.5% discount (341.99 euros instead of 399.99 euros). Aerosoft is also including a copy of one of their sim games to all pre-orders.

The Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System was specially designed by Aerosoft for truck and bus simulations to create the most authentic driving experience possible. The steering wheel has a diameter of 40 cm and a steering angle of 1080°. The force feedback gives players a realistic feel for the behavior of their vehicle in every bend and during every overtaking and parking maneuvers. Details such as fully functional indicator and retarder levers as well as a large red engine start button round off the wheel system to replicate the most classic of Truck & Bus driver seats.

In addition to the steering wheel, the Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System also includes a gearshift unit and a set of three pedals. The gearshift unit has a total of 14 programmable action buttons with indicator lights, a switch for H-Shift and sequential shift mode and an additional activation switch for first and second gear. The pedal set has a large accelerator pedal, a clutch pedal and a brake pedal with exponential pressure. A holder for a mobile phone or tablet rounds off the very comprehensive set.

ALIEN RPG Second Edition Ship and Colony Map Reveal

Ahead of the Kickstarter campaign later this fall, Free League is excited to share the first new content reveal for ALIEN The Roleplaying Game Second Edition. Today, let’s take a look at some brand-new maps for the game.

These detailed, full-color maps will be in format 864x558mm (34×22 inches) and are designed to scale for the new RPG miniatures that are also part of the upcoming Kickstarter, as well as the expanded stealth mode in the updated game rules. Using these maps, the miniatures, and the updated rules, ALIEN RPG 2e can even be played as a miniatures skirmish game.

The maps shown below, designed by acclaimed map artist Miska Fredman (Astraterra), show two decks of the USCSS Fidanza, a Nostromo-style spaceship, and the mining colony Jeremiah VI. Both are included in the new cinematic adventure Rapture Protocol. Similar maps of the Hadley’s Hope colony (as seen in ALIENS) will be included in the Hope’s Last Day Starter Set.

World of Tanks Returns to TwitchCon San Diego 2024

World of Tanks PC is thrilled to announce its triumphant return to TwitchCon San Diego 2024. It has been five years since our last TwitchCon, and we are making a huge comeback in San Diego! From September 20 to 22, tankers, gamers, and streamers from all communities can come to Booth 2623 in Hall F for cool swag, big tank battle action, face time with the WoT team, and interactions with content creators.

“Attending TwitchCon after a long time away is exciting and reinvigorating. Being able to see our community face-to-face is incredibly important to us,” said Michael Broek, Director of Publishing World of Tanks West. “We are especially proud to give them access to The Return of the Waffenträger, one of our most anticipated events.”

TwitchCon attendees who visit the World of Tanks booth will get into the action early with access to The Return of the Waffenträger game mode, available at our booth. The Return of the Waffenträger is a longtime favorite of the World of Tanks community. Asymmetrical combat takes center stage as players join a sci-fi adapted armored tanks (Bat.-Châtillon, M48 Patton, T-55a and the TVP 50/51) known as the “Harrier Squad,” to work together to eliminate the fearsome Waffenträger. However, one lucky player will get the chance to command the fearsome Waffenträger alongside its squad of AI-controlled vehicles, battling like a boss to take down the Harrier Squad.

Joining us at TwitchCon are the top World of Tanks PC content creators, including Dakillzor, Mouzakrobat, QuickyBaby, and Skill4ltu whose crew will command the Harriers. The World of Tanks player-facing staff, including Tragicloss, CommanderAF, Nicholas Moran (aka the Chieftain), and eekeeboo, will be on-site, ready to engage with the community, answer questions, and share insights about the future of the game.
