WWE 2K25 Official Gameplay Trailer Released

Today, 2K revealed the explosive WWE® 2K25 gameplay trailer, featuring a first look at exciting new gameplay including new brawl environments, match types, MyRISE Mutiny, MyGM online*, MyFACTION World Tour, a snapshot of 2K Showcase: The Bloodline’s Dynasty, and a quick glimpse at the all-new way to Rule Beyond The Ring, The Island which will be available for players on PS5® and Xbox Series X|S.

The trailer introduces WWE 2K25 cover star “The Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, followed by a high-octane montage of Superstars duking it out, including new intergender match-ups. A shot of Reigns and Seth Rollins battling at ringside includes Rollins showing off the new high-flying barricade dive feature. Next, a glimpse of new brawl environments, including the NXT Parking Lot and WWE Archives, where a variety of objects and environmental hazards can be used to inflict punishment on opponents.

Fans are treated to a much-anticipated look at the all-new 2K Showcase: The Bloodline’s Dynasty, celebrating one of the most iconic wrestling family dynasties – The Bloodline and the extended Anoa’i family. Each match leads to one of three outcomes: Relive History by reenacting a historical match to its actual outcome, Rewrite History by changing the outcome of a historical match, or Create History by experiencing a fantasy match-up. The Bloodline’s Dynasty is highlighted by action packed battles featuring Roman Reigns, The Rock, Yokozuna, Jacob Fatu and more.

Stunning looks at new features and long-awaited advancements follow, including the new Underground and Bloodline Rules match types. Clips of MyRISE Mutiny showcase a unified, male and female storyline complete with dramatic moments, exciting matches and story-driven cutscenes, followed by a barrage of highlights showcasing the return of chain wrestling, plus new additions of MyGM online features, and MyFACTION’s new World Tour component.

A new map comes to PvP while the Biovore invades Operations mode

With today’s update, Eternal War mode gets its first new PvP map since launch with the Necron-themed “Tomb” map.

Operations players, meanwhile, will need to keep an eye out for the new Tyranid Biovore, a devastating Majoris enemy able to deal damage both from afar and up close.

Season Pass brings the Raven Guard and Salamanders

In addition to these new challenges, Season Pass owners today receive the Raven Guard Cosmetic Pack and the Salamanders Champion Pack. The first comes with the iconic, fan-favorite Mark VI “Corvus” helmet and over 40 cosmetics to celebrate the Raven Guard Successor Chapters, while the latter brings a new Champion skin for the Sniper class and an exclusive Bolt Sniper Rifle skin.

“Absolute” difficulty now available, amidst huge QoL improvements

Besides its free and Season Pass content, “Datavault” also delivers the sixth and final difficulty setting, aptly named “Absolute,” as well as significant quality-of-life features for PC and console players alike. Ekoh Beach Demo Coming to Steam Next Fest this Month

Irish indie studio Zenland Games is excited to extend an invitation for players to experience a slice of its cosy sci-fi life sim Ekoh Beach today, ahead of Steam Next Fest this February. The Ekoh Beach demo, which will also run through the festival, introduces the planet of Ekoh 99 ahead of the full launch on April 4th, 2025, offering up to 3 hours of gameplay that shows off the game’s strong sense of humour and futuristic tropical theme.

Take your first steps into the role of town planner on a planet in disarray on your quest to turn it into a bustling community hub. This once technologically advanced planet has been left in disrepair following a robot rebellion, and it’s now your responsibility to set things right. Mackenyu Cast in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Today, Ubisoft® announced that actor Mackenyu, who is best known for his role as Roronoa Zoro in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of “One Piece” and his work in “Knight of the Zodiac” and “Dragons of Wonderhatch”, will make his video game debut, lending both his voice and likeness to the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed® Shadows video game this March.

Mackenyu portrays Gennojo, a charming individual who crosses path with Naoe and Yasuke while they are tracking a crucial target. Players can recruit him in the Shinobi League to aid in their fight against the forces of corruption that are rampant across the land. Mackenyu will be doing both the Japanese and English voice over for this character.

“I have fond memories of the franchise. I was in middle school when Assassin’s Creed first came out, and I remember my friends and I would gather at a friend’s house and take turns playing the game,” Mackenyu said. “When I heard that the new Assassin’s Creed game would be set in Japan, I knew that I needed to be part of this project.”

“Mackenyu’s performance added something really special to our game,” said Jonathan Dumont, Creative Director at Ubisoft Quebec, the lead development studio for Assassin’s Creed® Shadows. “His unique energy and charisma breathe life into Gennojo, and we’re eager for players to meet the character and explore his story.”

Available worldwide on March 20, Assassin’s Creed® Shadows is set in feudal Japan where the forces of vengeance and mercy collide during the critical events of the country’s unification. SEGA launched a new story trailer for the highly anticipated Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii featuring Pirate King Raymond Law, played by AEW professional wrestler Samoa Joe.

Like the first part, Chernobylite 2 is a story of people who try to accomplish an impossible mission and survive in the sinister Chornobyl Zone. Cole Grey, a former military and security guard, lives in a reality where the economy and industry are based entirely on a substance called Chernobylite. With its help, people have made a real leap in civilization. However, the construction of the utopia has been paid for by massive unemployment, pushing people like Cole to the margins of society. Due to severe financial problems, he joins the mysterious “Planewalker” initiative to provide for his family.

It quickly becomes apparent that there is a shortage of Chernobylite in Cole’s universe, and the solution is the morally questionable initiative that involves traveling to parallel worlds in search of the mineral and obtaining it by any means possible. In addition, the Planewalker service requires appropriate genetic modifications. Cole must, therefore, physically absorb the essence of Chernobylite and, to increase his physical and intellectual capabilities, lose a part of his humanity. However, seeing no other options for himself, he agrees to the bloody and dangerous service, which results in him ending up trapped in the most sinister place in the world: the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. There, he meets a Black Stalker, the Zone’s dark guide and silent ruler.

Spooky Swap Meet 2025 Tickets On Sale this Saturday

Southern California’s largest “Halfway-to-Halloween” celebration gets extra dark with the addition of more night time hours, when Spooky Swap Meet V returns to Heritage Square Museum Los Angeles from Friday evening, April 25 through Sunday the 27th.

Featuring 60+ vendors selling a mix of used Halloween decor and props and new merchandise, Spooky Swap Meet has sold out each day of the event since its start in 2021. “The evening hours were a hit last year with vendors and attendees alike so we added more, ” states Claire Dunlap, producer and co-creator. On both Friday and Saturday the event will run until 10pm, allowing for even spookier shopping and trick-r-treating.

Spooky Swap Meet features leading Halloween brands Trick or Treat Studios, and Strangecvlt, as well as convention and online favorites Tee No Evil, Backstitch Bruja, SpooksieBoo and Kreepsville 666 selling selections of new and gently used items including gothic furnishings, Halloween inspired decor, baked goods, apparel, props, and more. Fortune telling and food will also be available for purchase.

Guests of all ages are also encouraged to trick-or-treat for real candy at Heritage Square’s seven Victorian era manors, whose exteriors have been decorated and “spooked up” for the weekend by a curated selection of professional and amateur haunted attraction designers including LA Haunted Hayride, A Mr. He Slasher, Sanatorium Emporium, Stagefright Theater, Samhain’s Restless Farm and more.
