Encounter and escape danger as players enter “The Pit” on Terror Island. Guarded by a custom-sculpted giant spider, this area magnetically grabs and attacks the ball, so be prepared. Travel through dangerous terrain by exploring the thrilling helix-shaped Biplane ramp featuring a custom sculpted biplane toy in addition to a secret river ball path and river log diverter.

Thrilling gameplay features and challenges await players on this four-flipper adventure. Unlock the secrets of the Lost Temple four bank drop targets with a hidden standup target and navigate into the Kong Cave scoop and vertical up kicker. Survive Kong’s punch-back kicking target, which launches balls back at the player. Storm King Comics and Horror Master John Carpenter Announced for Midsummer Scream

Storm King Comics, the award-winning graphic novel publisher founded by film producer Sandy King, will headline Midsummer Scream’s 2025 “Horror Comic Books” theme when the world’s largest Halloween and horror convention returns to the Long Beach Convention Center from August 15-17, 2025.

Highlighting Storm King’s major presence, legendary director, composer, and Storm King collaborator John Carpenter (Halloween, They Live, The Thing, Escape from New York) will make a highly anticipated appearance. Carpenter will be in attendance on Saturday, August 16th only, signing autographs for fans. Each autograph fee will include a copy of John Carpenter Presents George A. Romero’s THE AMUSEMENT PARK, an all-new graphic novel based on the unique film, from Storm King Comics and the George A. Romero Foundation.

John Carpenter will be joined by Sandy King, founder and editor of Storm King Comics. Warhorse Studios Releases Hardcore Mode for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Today, publisher Deep Silver and developer Warhorse Studios have officially added Hardcore Mode to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, giving players a brutal new way to experience the land of medieval Bohemia.

Hardcore Mode turns Kingdom Come: Deliverance II into a true test of survival. Henry’s location is no longer permanently shown on the map, there is no compass to guide you, and fast travel is disabled, forcing you to navigate the world entirely on your own. Raising the stakes further, players need to select at least three permanent negative traits at the start of the game, such as Bad Back, meaning you can carry less weight; Somnambulant, which means sleepwalking and waking up in random places; or Hangry Henry, who is even more obsessed with food than usual.

This is an evolution of a mode that existed in the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance designed to create a new level of immersion in the game.

Karel Kolmann, senior game designer at Warhorse Studios, explained that they wanted the Hardcore Mode to be as good as it was in the first game, but not a carbon copy.

“We only kept a couple of the first game’s perks, and then we made new ones to provide a completely new challenge,” he said. “It’s not just about making the game harder either, it’s about making it more immersive too.

“In the first game’s Hardcore Mode, we did things like disabling your map position and removing the compass, but we’ve gone further this time. We’ve added the option to ask different NPCs about your location in the world, which is something more immersive. You can run into travellers on the road and ask for directions,” he added.

ZHIYUN Shines Brighter at NAB 2025

ZHIYUN was a hit at the NAB 2025 show in Las Vegas this April, unveiling new accessories that help photographers and videomakers unleash their creativity. The packed venue saw the launch of the latest ZHIYUN products and emphasized the remarkable performance of the wide range of ZHIYUN gimbal and lighting accessories.

The company drew a big crowd at its booth, with top influencers interacting with the audience, and live demonstrations for visitors and media. Industry experts speaking enthusiastically at the ZHIYUN booth included Cam Mackey @cammacky, Zach Ramelan @zachramelan, Irene Rudnyk @irenerudnykphoto, The DP Journey @thedpjourney, and Anita Sadowska @sadowskaphoto.

Throughout Early Access players will experience several dangerous regions of Ashenfall, and can look forward to the addition of a new region – Fellhollow – a location suspended between life and death and ruled over by a dangerous dragon overlord, opposed by a well-known character from the RuneScape franchise.
