Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Supergiant Games have released a new trailer for their upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade action-RPG, Bastion. The game is set to launch on the Windows PC platform later this year and puts players into the shoes of a young man charged with saving his world from all manner of evil creatures. Bastion is set for launch on the XBLA come July 20, 2011.

TopWare Interactive has announced a special Game of the Year edition of their RPG, Two Worlds II, to launch on October 18th. This GotY edition will feature a velvet game box as well as the upcoming expansion, Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress. Also in the box is a special set of digital artwork and wallpapers, as well as a redeemable in-game item which will buff your character.
Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the will be bridging the gap between Seasons 3 and 4 of Star Wars: Clone Wars with their upcoming Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Summer Series, Mission on Iceberg Three. SOE and LucasArts worked closely together to make sure the game expansion worked as a proper story bridge, and the mission picks up right after the events of the show’s third season leaves off.
“Our partnership with LucasArts continues to be strong with the team behind The Clone Wars TV series providing us unprecedented access to the season four storyline. 2K Games has announced that they and Top Cow Productions will be hosting a panel at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con to talk about their upcoming title, The Darkness II. The panel will take place on Thursday, July 21, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm PT in Room 9 within the San Diego Comic-Con convention center. 2K Games will also have eight playable demo kiosks of The Darkness II in the Top Cow booth (#2629) at the San Diego Comic-Con show floor.

The good people at Activision and Radical have released a brand-new trailer from their upcoming Prototype 2 which shows of a big new ability for players – the use of tendrils. This power allows players to throw “The Thing” like tendrils out in lots of directions and dismember opponents, collide them into objects, etc. Check it out!
Blizzard Entertainment has announced that their upcoming Real ID Party feature is now ready for testing. According to the press release, the Real ID Party feature allows WoW players to invite Real ID friends on the same faction to a party, regardless of realm in order to queue up for a 5-player normal or heroic dungeon. Q: What is the Real ID Party feature?
A: Players can now invite Real ID friends of the same faction to a 5-player normal or Heroic dungeon group, regardless of what realm their friends are on. This system is designed to make it easier for real-life friends to play together.
Q: How do I invite Real ID friends to a Real ID party?
A: Inviting a Real ID friend to a Real ID Party is simple. Just open up your Friends list to see which Real ID friends are online. Click on the “Plus” button to send an invitation to a Real ID friend to join your group. You can continue to add Real ID friends to your party until the group is complete. If you cannot complete the group with Real ID friends, you are free to join the Dungeon Finder to fill in the missing roles.
Q: Does a player need to have Real ID enabled to accept a Real ID group invite?
A: Yes, a player must have Real ID enabled, and both players must be Real ID friends to accept or initiate Real ID party invitations.
Q: Can a party leader invite a mix of Real ID friends, character-level friends, guildmates, or random players to the same party?
A: A party leader can invite any combination of Real ID friends from any realm, guildmates from the same realm, or other characters from the same realm to the same party. If the party leader isn’t able to fill up the entire party, the Dungeon Finder can fill in the missing roles.
Q: Can I invite someone who is not a Real ID friend?
A: You can only invite members to a party if they are on your Real ID friends list or if they are on the same realm as you are.
Q: Can I invite a friend of a Real ID friend?
A: No, you can only invite your own Real ID friends to the party.
Q: How long will the testing period last?

Kalypso Media and Realmforge have released some new screenshots from their upcoming sequel to Dungeons, titled Dungeons – The Dark Lord. The game is due out on September 20, 2011 via retail and digital distribution.
