Experienced game developer and publisher ByteRockers’ Games just announced their newest, in-house developed asteroid mining and resource gathering game, Exovia. Featuring zero gravity physics and a serene sandbox, Exovia is set to relax players in a low-stakes 2D space, while also providing logistics-based challenges that push you to optimize and gather it all.
You are a hard-working space engineer tasked with mining asteroids for resources and figuring out how to effectively bring them back for processing. Every material begins as part of the asteroid, requiring you to mine, gather, and transport resources in the best way you’re able to. Upgrade your capabilities over time and go deeper and deeper into distinct biomes with unique challenges.
Driven by a spirit of optimism rather than conquest and fear, Exovia encourages you to move at your own pace, embracing a vision of space as a place of wonder. Set-pieces scattered throughout the biomes and long-term missions present a narrative to this quest, bringing meaning and purpose to the relaxing solitude. As you unlock new technologies, update your capabilities and overcome increasingly harder logistical challenges that can be approached in many ways. Build, explore, and engineer your way toward the ultimate milestone of mankind: activating the warp gate and opening a new frontier in the stars.
Emergent gameplay that is both meditative and deeply satisfying is the most important core pillar of Exovia, a project that ByteRockers’ Games has been working on internally since 2024 in tandem with the team’s publishing efforts for several other titles. Exovia is the latest from a team that strives to create something new with every project they tackle. “The world can sometimes feel uncertain these days. We wanted to make a game where people can take their time and unwind — a space to relax in, without pressure.”, said Maxim Suckow, Game Designer at ByteRockers’ Games.
A playable demo will be available on Steam starting on May 8th. Exovia is set to release in 2026.
World of Tanks is honouring the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe with a content-rich tribute event that spans a thrilling new PvE mode, a historic livestream from the Tank Museum hosted by renowned tank experts, exclusive Twitch Drops, in-game discounts, and more.
From May 6th to May 13th, players will step into the boots of an elite Allied tank commander in the thrilling new PvE mission, Operation Postman. Set in the tense final days of World War II, the objective is clear but dangerous: deliver a message behind enemy lines to inform Allied troops that the war is over. Players will enter combat in a uniquely camouflaged M24 Chaffee, supported by an international tank crew equipped with special tactical abilities such as “Scout Around” to recon enemy positions and “False Order” to mislead German patrols. Dense minefields block all approaches to the castle, prompting players to explore the enemy base, locate command posts, and search for maps that reveal a safe route. Once tankers complete challenges, trusty Chaffee will stay with their tank collection permanently.
On May 10th at 15:00 UTC, Wargaming and The Tank Museum in Bovington, UK will present a special livestream commemorating VE Day. It will be hosted by World of Tanks Head of Military Relations and Tank Regiment Veteran Richard Cutland, and Head of Marketing and Engagement at The Tank Museum, Nik Wyness. Join them and some very special guests as they delve onto the significance of VE Day, the key stages of WWII and the evolution of armour throughout this period. Viewers can also expect valuable Mystery Drops on Twitch throughout the stream and a chance to win premium vehicles and more.
Between May 8th 9:00am and May 12th 9:00am UTC, tankers can also earn x5 XP multipliers for the first victory of the day, along with gold discounts on Premium vehicles, and credit discounts on researchable vehicles, consumables, and equipment.

Dead by Daylight is back with a fresh release to ring in the spring that includes a new Survivor – the unflinching Orela Rose – new Events, an overhaul to The Archives, all-new can’t-miss Cosmetics, and a real-world charitable partnership for very good cause.
A Light in the Darkness
Dead by Daylight: Steady Pulse marks the introduction of one of the most selfless Survivors The Entity’s Realm has ever seen in Orela Rose. A stalwart first responder, Orela enters The Fog with the intention of not just surviving, but saving as many lives as possible en route to escape.
Driven by the untimely loss of her best friend to a tragic accident, Orela vowed to never let the same fate befall another in need. She quit university and embarked on a career as an EMT where her unshakable demeanor and calming presence led her to quickly excelling in her new vocation. Luckily for her fellow Survivors, Orela’s heroics extend well beyond patching up wounds. The more intense the pressure, the more her skillset shines, making her the one others can rely on when hope begins to fade.
Orela Rose brings 3 character-specific Perks to the scene:
Do No Harm: Whenever you heal another Survivor, gain increased heal speed and Great Skill Check progress for each Hook State they have.
Duty of Care: When healthy, take a Protection Hit to give nearby Survivors a temporary Haste boost.
Rapid Response: If you are not Exhausted, rush-exit a Locker to become Exhausted and briefly reveal the Killer’s Aura.
Positive Impact
Caring, compassionate, and determined, Orela is a force for good both in and outside of The Fog. To celebrate her release, Dead by Daylight is partnering with Montreal’s CHU Sainte-Justine’s Foundation, a charity that combines philanthropic dreams and pediatric advances at the Sainte-Justin Hospital.
Dead by Daylight supports the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation by donating all proceeds of the 2 Orela Paramedic skins in-game, sold from May 6 to May 27, in support of hospitalized youth.
Further bolstering Dead by Daylight’s fundraising effort, a community-centric activity, set to be introduced during the course of the campaign, will also be announced in the coming weeks.
Direct donations to Grow Beyond can also be made through the foundation’s website.
The Rift Revamped
Not to be forgotten, some spring cleaning is also taking place within The Archives – now called The Rift – beginning with the latest entry, out now, titled OVERGROWTH. Players will now be able to have all Quests (formerly Challenges) active at once, creating a quicker, easier, more streamlined experience for those working their way through The Rift while earning its rewards.
Releasing on May 6 as part of OVERGROWTH, is the Dark Overgrowth Collection featuring incredible floral fashions for Haddie Kaur and The Dredge, as well as The Nurse, Orela, Feng, and Adam Francis.
Spring Styles
Changing seasons always mark the perfect time to roll over one’s wardrobe, so Dead by Daylight is offering up a slew of new styles for players to collect.
On May 6, the Steady Pulse Collection will feature some alternate looks for Orela Rose, including the Day Shift Outfit that sees her don her classic EMT uniform and the Hacylon Dreams Outfit.
Arriving on May 13 is the return of Guardians & Shadows Collection. Otherworldly additions here include the Ghost Face Nevermore Outfit for The Ghost Face, the Rodent King Outfit for The Legion, as well as new looks for Yun-Jin and Gabriel.
New Outfits are also being added to the Chrysalis and Cats & Dogs Collection on May 20 and May 27, respectively. The Chrysalis Collection offers up unsettling new insectile looks for The Xenomorph and The Executioner, while the Cats & Dogs Collection sees Ellen Ripley rock a Jonesy-themed top along with new Outfits for Nicolas Cage and The Unknown.

Independent Developer Raccoon Logic have today launched the Cosmic Hoarder edition of sci-fi adventure Revenge of the Savage Planet on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC – with the standard crash landing on 8th May. Playable in both singleplayer and co-op (couch and online), Revenge of the Savage Planet sees you abandoned on an alien planet with no job and no plan, after Alta Interglobal, your now former employer, deems your mission to colonise space too costly, leaving you to scavenge your way across four unique (and savage) planets in an attempt to return home.
Pioneers heading into deep space today with the Cosmic Hoarder edition will receive the Cinco de Mayo Trash Panda skin (First Month Only), Shama Lama’s D.I.A.P.E.R (Ding Dong Influencer Accelerator Program Extreme Routine) 4 New Missions, HR Enforcer Deluxe Suit, Gold Lamé Space Suit, and the Official digital Soundtrack and Artbook.
As you jump, slide, and shoot your way across alien worlds, trying to put all thoughts of unfair dismissal aside, you’ll need to salvage what you can from the vibrant landscapes, craft equipment, capture abhorrent adorable critters, upgrade your gear, and scan every single thing as far as the eye can see on your intergalactic adventure.
Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director, Raccoon Logic said: “It almost doesn’t feel real – we’re so honoured to share that Revenge of the Savage Planet has now launched on PC and console! What was once a glimmer of an idea from a team who’d been kicked to the curb, is now a real, tangible thing that we can’t wait for you to explore. We hope you have half as much fun playing this game as we had making it, if it weren’t for you, the players, we wouldn’t be able to keep creating these weird (and hopefully wonderful) stories, so from the bottom of our raccoon hearts, thank you. Now go play, there are savage planets to explore!”
Trading the Deep Sea for Deep Space, DAVE THE DIVER can romp his way through Revenge of the Savage Planet, allowing you to explore the far reaches of space dressed as your favourite scuba diver. Transported from the Blue Hole to a blue sphere in the far reaches of space DAVE has been visualised in all his 3D glory as a homage to the beloved and charming game, and will be available with both the standard and Cosmic Hoarder editions of Revenge of the Savage Planet.
Reid Schneider, Studio Head, Raccoon Logic said: “We knew we wanted to do a big surprise collaboration for launch but we needed to find the right IP that would work for the game. After an introduction from Amir Satvat, who incidentally had the idea to put Dave in the game, I got to know Jaeho Hwang (Mintrocket CEO) pretty well. We had a bunch of calls, and talked about doing a crossover with Dave the Diver. The collaboration emerged from there and we’re super grateful to Jaeho (and his team) for entrusting us with Dave.”
Arrow Video is excited to announce the May 2025 lineup of their subscription-based ARROW platform, available to subscribers in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland. Enjoy a selection of new titles, from carefully cultivated curations to shorts by new talent. For serious enthusiasts, ARROW offers deep dives into the tastes of filmmakers that changed the way we see the genre.
The ARROW May 2025 lineup leads with the exclusive ARROW release of Steppenwolf, director Adilkhan Yerzhanov’s unrelenting journey into a dystopian wasteland. The movie won the Golden Raven Grand Prix at the 2024 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and the Outstanding Performance Award for the leading actors at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival. Steppenwolf puts Kazakhstan cinema on the action map with a dark thriller and a bleak landscape.
ARROW is also thrilled to launch the 4K release of the long-forgotten comedy The Birthday, starring Corey Feldman in an unhinged take on The Shining. Feldman’s Norman thinks he’s just going to a birthday party, but it turns out the festivities are for the birth of a cult’s god.
The lineup begins May 2 with a very appropriate ARROW Season: Not For Everyone (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN). The edgy and the extreme, the saucy and the sleazy, these titles are most definitely Not For Everyone.
Titles Include: I Spit on Your Grave, Tomie, Castle Freak.
Also on May 2, subscribers can tune in and watch Porno (US/ CAN): When five teen employees at the local movie theater in a small Christian town discover a mysterious old film hidden in its basement, they unleash an alluring succubus who gives them a sex education…written in blood.
And genre legend Linnea Quigley stretches her comedy chops in the beginning of the Vice Academy franchise.
Vice Academy (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN): Students at the police vice academy go out on the streets of L.A. and accumulate graduation points by trying to make small arrests.
Vice Academy 2 (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN): Rookie policewomen thwart a villainess out to spike the city’s water with an aphrodisiac.
The franchise fun continues with the next pair of Vice Academy installments on May 9.
Vice Academy 3 (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN): Two policewomen must save the city from a green-haired woman out to harm the environment.
Vice Academy 4 (UK/ IRE/ US): A policewoman and her partner must stop a green-haired prison escapee intent on ruining the commissioner’s wedding.
Also on May 9, North American subscribers can get locked in Cube (US/ CAN). A group of strangers wake up in a mysterious room inscribed with an unfamiliar code. Looking for ways to escape, they discover the room is riddled with lethal traps. As fear and distrust swirl around them, the group must work together to survive.
On May 16, take a stroll through the mind of the creator of Beware The Moon, the An American Werewolf in London documentary, and writer/director of several episodes of the Blumhouse horror series Into the Dark.
Paul Davis Selects (UK/US/CA/IRE): Paul Davis – writer/director of Blumhouse’s Into The Dark (including The Body, Uncanny Annie) and Beware The Moon – Remembering An American Werewolf in London. “Considering how many incredible movies are available for selection on ARROW, I can only imagine this will be the closest I will ever get to having to pick a favorite child.
Among those I ended up choosing are a collection of movies that have personally inspired me and my own work, and are slices of cinematic delight that I can revisit over again. Essentially this would be my ARROW Desert Island Selects.
I’m absolutely thrilled and humbled to be asked to join the esteemed company here on ARROW Selects, and hope you guys enjoy the titles I have put together for your viewing pleasure.”
Titles Include: A Pistol for Ringo, The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave, The Woman.
May 16th concludes with the climax of Rick Sloane’s Vice Academy franchise.
Vice Academy 5 (UK/ IRE/ US): The commissioner’s son unleashes the dirty computer game `Virtual Reality Hooker’ from his computer. Therefore Vice Academy officers Candy and Traci have to prevent an epidemic of sexually transmitted computer viruses.
Vice Academy 6 (UK/ IRE/ US): Vice cops Candy and Traci accidentally meet the bikini robbers who are armed with assault weapons in a bank. The thieves escape. The commissioner and the instructor enlist Internal Affairs detective to solve the case.
On May 19, enter The Demon’s Rook (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN). The young Roscoe enters a mystical world through a magical portal; there he meets the old demon Dimwos, who introduces him to the mysterious power of magic; later, Roscoe accidentally unleashes three evil demons, but manages to escape.
On May 21, a largely-forgotten comedy gem launches on 4K. Eugenio Mira’s filmmaking debut, which counts Jason Blum and Jordan Peele among its fans, makes its 4K debut 20 years after its release.
The Birthday (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN): Not everything is as it seems at the old Royal Fulton Hotel. Norman Forrester (Feldman) is finally going to meet his girlfriend’s family at her father’s lavish birthday party. But what was supposed to be an important step forward in their relationship doesn’t exactly go as planned; he’s not on the guest list, his girlfriend is ignoring him, and her father doesn’t like him at all. Rejected and heartbroken, Norman wanders away from the party, only to find something far more sinister than his girlfriend’s family lurking deep within the churning bowels of the ailing hotel: an ancient evil that threatens to bring about the end of the world.
May closes out on May 26 with the exclusive ARROW release of Steppenwolf (UK/ IRE/ US/ CAN).
Tamara (Anna Starchenko), a young lady consumed by trauma, searches for her missing son, Timka, in a small town dominated by riots and violence. In a desperate attempt to get him back, she teams up with an amoral former police investigator (Berik Aytzhanov) whose methods prove to be frequently cruel and sadistic. Quietly determined, Tamara decides to complete the mission with the nihilistic detective, no matter what the cost, as the pair embark on a bloody and bullet-riddled road trip in their combined search for salvation.
Winner of the Golden Raven Grand Prix at the 2024 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festivals and the Outstanding Performance Award for both Anna Starchenko and Berik Aitzhanov at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival, Steppenwolf is the latest film from acclaimed director Adilkhan Yerzhanov (Cannes-selected The Gentle Indifference of the World & Venice-selected Goliath), and Oscar-nominated producer Alexander Rodnyansky (Leviathan).
