Architect Life: A House Design Simulator Gameplay Trailer

NACON and Shine Research studio today unveil new gameplay footage of Architect Life: A House Design Simulator, the first simulation game that puts players at the head of their own architecture firm. Through exploring this trendy profession, players are tasked with fulfilling the real estate projects of their clientele. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch™, PC, PS5™, and Xbox Series X|S on June 19, 2025.

Architecture and renovation shows fascinate viewers the world over. As a true social phenomenon, this passion for well-thought-out interiors and grandiose construction projects now comes to Architect Life. The game immerses players in an experience halfway between management and creative modeling, whether building a dream lakeside villa, reproducing and renovating their own home, or tackling urban planning challenges worthy of a star architect.

Architect Life offers players the opportunity to create buildings on 60 diverse plots in mountains, countryside, or city settings. Thanks to its two game modes, including Career mode, 60 missions present players with varied architectural challenges.

In Architect Life’s Career Mode, the gameplay loop is based on the construction stages of a real architectural project. For each mission they choose, players must follow precise phases while ensuring they respect the allocated budget.

At their architect’s desk, players begin by designing a model of the house: structural work, finishing work, exterior development, home staging and, if they feel like it, decoration. It’s then up to them to choose the subcontractors who will carry out the work, paying attention to their reliability, speed, and the remaining budget. Players must monitor the construction site in real time and make the best decisions when unexpected events occur. Finally, they can visit the freshly built house and receive a satisfaction rating from their clients.

Each successful mission will earn them experience points, which they can use to unlock “perks.” These new skills will, for example, reduce certain costs or increase client satisfaction and will be essential to continue progressing through career mode missions. Gradually, players will face more difficult terrain to develop as well as more demanding specifications. The “stilt specialists” perk will provide an interesting creative solution for terrains with cliffs or waterways.

Architect Life also offers infinite replayability thanks to its Free Mode. In “Free Construction,” imaginative players can express their creativity on the plot of their choice. They can choose to activate certain constraints or completely do without them, like a true sandbox. In “Call for Tenders,” the most ambitious players can replay any mission under career conditions.

Architect Life: A House Design Simulator will be available on PC, PS5TM, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on June 19, 2025.
