Bloody Zombies Announced

(Farnborough, United Kingdom) May 8, 2017 — nDreams, the UK’s leading publisher and developer of VR content, and Paw Print Games announce Bloody Zombies coming to VR headsets (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation®VR) and gaming platforms (PlayStation®4 (PS4™), Xbox One, and PCs in 2017.

Bloody Zombies is a one-to-four player co-op brawler designed to be played with any combination of TV and VR players, online or on the couch. Set in a London wasteland, bloody zombies (pun intended) run amok and four rough-and-tough cockney misfits must work together to beat back the rotting hordes.

With easily accessible moves, yet with deep freeform combat and brutal chainable combos, players can unlock special moves and discover melee weapons to expand their zombie-slaying abilities. The VR player’s enhanced viewpoint means you can also find in-game secrets, provide tactical support, and conquer obstacles using a unique diorama view.

Bloody Zombies transforms the classic co-op brawler into an original experience.  Players team up to battle the undead in the streets of London, regardless of whether if they are playing in VR with its unique viewpoint or on console or PC,” said David Corless, VP of Publishing, nDreams.

Antony White, Co-Founder and Director at Paw Print Games, said: “Bloody Zombies combines irreverent British humor, exaggerated characterisation with an approach to over-the-top urban violence to create a new style of brawler. Team play is definitely key, but you’ll also need to beat your friends to compete for the highest score.”

Catch a first glimpse at the experience in this trailer.

New Rogue Trooper Redux Trailer

May 4, 2017 – ROGUE TROOPER REDUX will once again bring to life the adventures of iconic 2000 AD® hero Rogue Trooper, remastering his classic 2006 shooter for a new generation. With new fans in mind, independent UK developer Rebellion® have released “Who is Rogue Trooper?” – a video feature detailing the blue-skinned soldier’s fascinating origins and offering an exclusive glimpse at his new remastered, in-game character model.

Rogue is one of the Genetic Infantrymen (‘GIs’), an army of bio-engineered soldiers, created by Southers to fight their all out war against the colonial Nort regime. Not only can GIs survive the poisonous surface of Nu Earth unharmed, but their enhanced abilities make them a phenomenal force.

And yet, Rogue is the last GI standing following a devastating massacre that all but wipes out his kind. Carrying the consciousnesses of three fallen comrades as biochips implanted in his equipment, enhancing his powers further, Rogue transforms from super soldier into a one-man squad of death and destruction. He knows no allegiance but to his own mission, and he is hell-bent on completing it. That mission is REVENGE.

Today’s new ROGUE TROOPER REDUX trailer also reveals for the first time the game’s new, fully remastered Rogue model, offering a glimpse of the extensively updated visuals coming to the remaster.

Rogue has been completely remade from the ground up using current-gen quality materials and higher resolution geometry. He sports a new look, based on the classic style of the original 2000 AD® Rogue Trooper comics.

ROGUE TROOPER REDUX is coming soon to PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and PC.

For more information on the game or IP, head to RogueTrooper.com and 2000ADonline.com.

ELEX – Berserker Faction Gameplay Trailer

VIENNA May 4, 2017 – Piranha Bytes and THQ Nordic present a new in-game trailer for ELEX. The new trailer features one of the major factions players can join in the world of Magalan: the Berserkers.

Having found a way to transmute Elex into pure Mana, the Berserkers are transforming Magalan’s shattered wastes into lush, living woodland. From their capital Goliet in Edan, they range through the world to find places to plant their “world hearts” – huge plants, able to revitalize the planet.

The Berserkers decline any kind of technology, with their city looking like it was lifted right from medieval times. When it comes to combat, they rely on sword, axes, crossbows… and magic.

Developed by Piranha Bytes, creators of the award-winning Gothic and Risen series, ELEX is a handcrafted action role-playing experience set in a post-apocalyptic science-fantasy universe, putting players into a huge, seamless open world full of original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices and powerful action. From swords and axes to bows, crossbows and harpoons, ELEX offers one of the widest selections of weaponry in the history of role-playing. Pick up a shotgun, power up a plasma rifle or unleash a flame thrower – there’s a weapon and combat style for every fighter out there. Then find a companion, choose a faction and influence the world; in ELEX, every choice will forge the future of your game.

ELEX is set to release later this year on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC. For more information, visit www.elexgame.com, and follow the game on Facebook andTwitter.

The Surge Trailer Goes Behind the Scenes

May 4, 2017 – Hardcore Action-RPG The Surge comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 16, 2017. Go behind the scenes in today’s trailer, as the Deck13 team discuss how they created the game’s brutal combat and unique sci-fi setting.

Delve into The Surge’s industrial, near-future Earth setting, which tackles issues of environmental destruction, corporatism and misuse of technology relevant to our own world. Taking control of the exo-suited Warren, players will explore rich, secret-filled environments and venture deep into the heart of tech company CREO’s devastated facility – all while battling crazed employees with fried cranial implants and robots gone haywire.

Using the limb-based targeting system, players can exploit enemies’ weaknesses – though as Deck13’s Thorsten Lange states, “the same rules apply for the enemies.” Positioning is of the utmost importance, and even the smallest misstep can end in death. Warren isn’t an “overpowered superhero”, and combat animations were given credibility through extensive motion capture sessions with a stuntman, resulting in combat that feels weighty and satisfying.

Prepare for The Surge, coming May 16 to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One and PC. Visit the official website for more info.
