Razer™, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the launch of its AI Center of Excellence in Singapore, marking the first phase of its AI global strategy. As part of a broader plan to establish interconnected AI hubs, the Singapore facility sets the foundation for future centers in Europe and the United States, expanding Razer’s global reach and collaborative potential.

This strategic expansion comes amid rapid growth in the gaming industry, which is projected to reach nearly US$400 billion by 2033. AI gaming alone is expected to surge to US$28 billion, growing at a compound annual rate of 28.4%. The United States, as one of the largest and most dynamic gaming markets globally, represents a significant opportunity for future AI innovation and developer collaboration.

“Razer’s global AI Centers of Excellence are a strategic investment in AI gaming. By advancing research, talent, and product innovation, we aim to lead the future of gaming. Our Singapore centre will be a key driver of this mission, alongside our hubs in Europe and the USA,” said Li-Meng Lee, Chief Strategy Officer at Razer. “Our goal is to empower game developers with the tools that deliver more immersive, intelligent, and efficient gaming experiences at scale.”

Driving AI Gaming Innovation in Singapore

Supported by Digital Industry Singapore (a joint office by Singapore Economic Development Board, EnterpriseSG and Infocomm Media Development Authority), the new center will serve as a cornerstone of Razer’s efforts to develop next-generation AI gaming technologies. Poised to become one of Singapore’s largest and most advanced AI gaming facilities, the new center is designed to accelerate innovation by cultivating expert talent, conducting advanced research, and fast-tracking product development. Its mission is to deliver AI-powered gaming solutions that improve production efficiency, deepen player engagement, and elevate game quality worldwide. This initiative aligns with Singapore’s national vision to strengthen its AI capabilities and lead digital transformation.

With support from Digital Industry Singapore, Razer will hire 150 AI specialists locally, spanning disciplines such as engineering, data science, and game development. To support this growth, Razer has introduced a skills-first, high-engagement hiring process tailored for AI roles. Designed to attract top talent and streamline recruitment, the process offers a fast and efficient experience for applicants while enabling Razer to scale its AI capabilities effectively. Interested candidates can explore available opportunities on Razer’s website.

“Razer’s launch of their AI Centre of Excellence highlights Singapore’s appeal as a location for AI development within digitally advanced sectors”, said Philbert Gomez, Executive Director and Head, Digital Industry Singapore. “Razer’s innovation in AI-powered gaming solutions will also present opportunities for talent to build flagship AI gaming products from Singapore, strengthening our position as an AI innovation hub for the region.”

Flagship AI Gaming Technologies and Global Collaboration

Razer’s AI suite is designed to empower developers and studios with intelligent tools that enhance gameplay, streamline development, and accelerate innovation. Leading the portfolio is Razer Game Co-AI, a generative AI copilot that provides real-time tactical coaching tailored to individual player behavior, enabling more dynamic and personalized gaming experiences. Complementing this is Razer QA Companion (QA Co-AI), an AI-powered solution that automates quality assurance testing and bug detection. By reducing QA time by up to 50%, QA Co-AI helps developers improve game quality, lower production costs, and accelerate time-to-market. Currently in beta testing with AAA, AA, and indie studios, the tool has received strong early feedback and is scheduled for global launch on AWS Marketplace in the coming months.

Razer’s upcoming AI hubs in Europe and the United States will build on the foundation established in Singapore, focusing on regional innovation and talent development. The European center will lead the growth of WYVRN, Razer’s comprehensive developer platform designed to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and elevate player immersion. Through a single SDK, developers will gain streamlined access to Razer’s proprietary technologies, including Razer AI Game Tools, Razer Sensa HD Haptics, Razer Chroma RGB, and THX Spatial, enabling the creation of more immersive and responsive gaming experiences.

World of Warships Honors 80 Years Since The End of WW2 in August Update

Wargaming, the developer and publisher of the leading historically accurate, naval multiplayer game World of Warships, is paying tribute to 80 years since the end of World War II in its latest update. New Operations commemorate the occasion with exclusive rewards and ships available to earn, including special Premium Tier VIII American cruiser San Diego. Plus, players can undertake the construction of Tier X American premium destroyer USS Laffey in the Dockyard, and a Content Rarity system joins the Armory to round out a sea of new updates for World of Warships.

“In The Name of Tomorrow” Commemorate the end of the Second World War with new Operations

80 years have passed since the end of World War II, and to mark this tremendous milestone, World of Warships is introducing three new Operations that reflect the war’s historic evolution. Across three weeks during this event named “In The Name of Tomorrow” with one Operation available at a time, players can complete the Arctic Convoy, Tokyo Express, and Pacific Offensive Operations. Each Operation is designed for up to seven players and offers a variety of objectives, including escorting convoys, stealth raids, and taking down fortified enemy installations. To assist those voyaging out on the seven seas, Tier VI French cruiser La Galissonnière and Tier VIII American cruiser Cleveland can be used as rental ships.

After the three weeks, all Operations will return for a final week, allowing players to complete them once again with expanded restrictions on tiers and nations. As players complete Operation objectives, they will be rewarded with stars to progress through a special narrative campaign, which contributes towards the new ‘39-’45 Chronicles Collection and unlocks plenty of rewards. Among these are a Special End of WWII skin for the Tier IX American battleship Iowa, a new enemy destruction effect known as Underwater Explosion, and the American Commander, Robert Adams. Along the entire update, players will be able to follow the journey during WWII of the final prize for those who complete the event, the premium Tier VIII American cruiser San Diego.

“The Ship That Would Not Die” joins the Dockyard

For the latest update, Tier X American Premium destroyer USS Laffey arrives in the Dockyard across 20 construction phases, known for its extensive service during World War II, the vessel was involved in historic moments, such as the Normandy landings and the Battle of Okinawa, the latter earning its nickname as “The Ship That Would Not Die” after surviving six kamikaze strikes and four direct bomb hits.

For World of Warships players, Laffey comes equipped with 127mm guns, which may not pack much of a punch, but synergise with a powerful toolkit that allows for strong concealment, Improved Defensive AA fire, and an enhanced Specialised Repair Teams consumable. If that wasn’t enough, Laffey also includes a variant of the Burst Fire mechanic, short-range torpedoes, and a time-based Smoke Generator to assist in some of her drawbacks.

The Armory welcomes the Content Rarity System

The Content Rarity System is joining the Armory, bringing colour-coded rarity grades for ships, camouflages, and enemy destruction effects. This system allows players to easily evaluate the difference in items and easily see the rarity of their unlocks. In addition to joining the Armory, this system will also be available as part of the Captain’s Log Book, finally World of Warships’ August update rounds out with two new flags and new achievements for Clan Battles Season 31.

Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack Announced

Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Gust announced that the Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack, the definitive version of Ryza’s summer adventures, will be available on Nov. 13, 2025. Fans will be able to relive the journey of the young alchemist and her friends with new playable characters, new story content, and more exclusive elements. The Deluxe Pack is currently in development and will be available digitally on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC via Steam®.

Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack will reintroduce fans to the summer adventures of fan-favorite alchemist Reisalin Stout and her friends in a collection featuring all three titles from the “Secret” series, which sold over 2.5 million units worldwide. The Deluxe Pack will include new content for each title, such as new playable characters, each with new character stills designed by artist Toridamono, and new story episodes written by Yashichiro Takahashi, scenario writer of the “Secret” series.

Ryza’s adventures began in 2019 with the release of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, the 21st entry in the Atelier franchise. The game introduced players to a colorful cast of characters who embarked on an adventure to uncover the secrets of their island. The DX version of the title will introduce new playable characters including Agatha, Kilo and Romy. Players will also be able to discover events happening in parallel with the main storyline, such as the encounter of Kilo and Bos in the Underworld, and other events that took place between Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX.

Released in 2021, the second title in the “Secret” series takes place three years after the events of the first title. The game follows Ryza and her friends as they are confronted with a major decision and new secrets to uncover while searching for gates to the Underworld. In Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX, players will be able to play as Empel and Lila, while discovering a new episode in which the two companions meet Ryza at the capital to help her in her journey as she explores a new map.

Originally released in 2023, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX completes the “Secret” series and takes players one year after the events depicted in Atelier Ryza 2. Players will follow Ryza and her friends on their final summer adventure as they attempt to save their island and discover the secret of the “Code of the Universe”. In addition to reuniting with beloved characters from previous episodes and meeting new companions, players will also be able to play as new characters from Atelier Ryza and Atelier Ryza 2, such as Clifford, Serri, and Kilo. The DX version will introduce a new side story following Clifford and Serri after their separation from Ryza. The two will team up and embark on a journey to help each other achieve their own goals. Fans will also discover a new event that delves deeper into the relationship between Kilo and Bos, as well as explore a new island and its mysterious ruins.

Lastly, all games will include quality-of-life improvements and new features to enrich players’ experience, such as the addition of a “Custom Combat” mode in which they will be able to choose the level and combination of monsters they want to face. In Atelier Ryza 2, Fi will follow and support Ryza as she explores ruins, helping her find clues, or restoring a small amount of the party members’ health in battles. Atelier Ryza 3 will introduce a new mount, the “Wind Beast”, which automatically gathers ingredients during exploration. Players can also now enjoy content that was previously provided as free and paid items in the original three games, such as swimsuit costumes, maps, recipes, and more. Additionally, those who previously experienced the “Secret” series will receive exclusive items to help them start their adventures as save data bonuses.

Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack is currently in development and is scheduled for release in 2025 on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC via Steam. Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX will include Japanese voices with English texts only. Critical Role Announces Campaign 4 with Brennan Lee Mulligan as Game Master

Critical Role, a leader in storytelling and world building, has officially announced Campaign 4, the highly anticipated next chapter in its flagship series. Premiering Thursday, October 2, the new campaign will introduce a brand new world, and, for the first time in Critical Role’s core campaign, a brand new Game Master: celebrated actual play creator and storyteller Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Mulligan will step into the Game Master seat for the full duration of Campaign 4, bringing his signature depth, humor, wit, and high-stakes drama to Critical Role’s next grand adventure. Known for his work as a creative powerhouse and masterful world builder on his long-standing Dropout actual play series Dimension 20 as well as his beloved podcast Worlds Beyond Number, Mulligan has become one of the most respected narrative talents in the space. In addition to his pioneering work in tabletop, Mulligan is a frequent improviser, collaborator and producer on other fan-favorite Dropout properties like Game Changer, Make Some Noise and Very Important People.

“We’ve been enormous fans of Brennan’s for many years now, and when it came to giving both Matthew Mercer and the world of Exandria a bit of a breather, Brennan felt like the perfect storyteller to take our community somewhere entirely new.” said Travis Willingham, CEO, co-founder, and cast member of Critical Role. “Critical Role has always been about genuine connection through storytelling first and foremost, and as Brennan himself will tell you, he’s still played more TTRPGs away from a camera than in front of it. His passion and drive for worldbuilding is infectious, and it’s been an absolute joy to spark off him as we forge ahead.”

Following the beloved sagas of Vox Machina (Campaign 1), The Mighty Nein (Campaign 2), and Bells Hells (Campaign 3), Critical Role’s new campaign represents a bold evolution for the franchise, ushering in a new era with new legends to be forged in a brand new world.

“What a gift, a privilege and an honor to be invited behind the screen of Critical Role for this next epic adventure,” said Mulligan. “Every collaboration we have had together has brought nothing but sheer joy, and Campaign 4 will be no exception. I’m finally playing *almost* as much tabletop as I’d like to!”

“We’re not just turning a page – we’re starting a whole new book,” added Marisha Ray, Creative Director, co-founder, and cast member of Critical Role. “Everything about Campaign 4 is fresh; new world, new tone, new possibilities. We can’t wait for the fans to experience what we’ve been building.”

Campaign 4 will premiere with instant access on Beacon.tv as well as streamed to Critical Role’s YouTube and Twitch channels on October 2, with the VOD available for everyone the following Monday and podcast episodes available in two parts: the first one week after the premiere, and the second on the following Tuesday. Beacon members will also get exclusive access to all episodes of Critical Role Cooldown for Campaign 4, where the cameras keep rolling and you get a front row seat to the cast’s post-show reactions. Further details – including cast, the world, game system, format, and more – will be revealed in the months to come. Go to Critical Role’s website or follow along on Instagram at @Critical_Role, TikTok at @CriticalRole, and Critical Role’s newsletter to stay up-to-date.
