While the source of this trailer is still unknown (Ubisoft has not officially-released it yet), this new video is for an upcoming HD remastering of the highly-acclaimed (yet under-performing) adventure game, Beyond Good & Evil. The HD version is said to be due out this year on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network, but nothing further is known at this time. Stay-tuned!
Trion Worlds has announced that their upcoming MMO, RIFT, is now available for pre-order via the game’s official website. RIFT puts players into a world being torn apart by enigmatic ‘rifts’. Players are tasked with gaining experience and levels in order to find out what is behind the schisms and how to stop them. RIFT is due out on March 1st, 2011.
Paradox Interactive has confirmed the games lineup for its upcoming 2011 Paradox Interactive Convention. The conference is scheduled to take place on January 20th in New York City. The company is featuring 16 development teams in attendance as well as a number of titles, including Sword of the Stars II and Supreme Ruler: Cold War. Paradox will also be announcing new titles at the event.

Hercules has announced their upcoming XPS 101 2.1 channel sound system. A high-end 2.1 system promising ‘elegance and acoustic excellence’, the XPS101 will retail for a suggested price of $249.99 and features 101 watts RMS of output power as well as a sub-woofer with three drivers within its housing.
The XPS101 will be available later this month.
Over at the official Star Wars website, it has been announced that the company will make a special CES 2011 presentation/announcement at Panasonic’s show floor booth on Thursday at 11:30am PT.

Out now on Nintendo Wii Ware for 500 Wii Points is Legendo Entertainment’s new Ghost Mania. Described as a ‘paranormal puzzle game’, Ghost Mania puts players in the shoes of ghost hunter out to catch as many spooks as possible over 70+ levels of play. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and sports both widescreen and 480p resolutions.
Ghost Mania is available now on the Nintendo Wii.
Back in March, Bungie Studios trademarked the name ‘Bungie Aerospace’. Now, a teaser website, BungieAerospace.org, has appeared with a countdown timer and the word’ Tru7h’, in which the 7 links back to Bungie’s homepage. The timer should expire on December 5th, so hopefully we will get some sort of resolution as to if this is a real teaser site or some fan-hoax. Bungie Aerospace has long-thought to be a new game engine being worked on by the company, but nothing official has been announced – for all we know they could be working on a flight sim (not likely). There is an actual website for Bungie Aerospace, which further pokes holes in this teaser site’s credibility.

Tecmo Koei has announced that its upcoming actioner, Dynasty Warriors 7, will be hitting the North American gaming market on March 22nd, 2011 with a European appearance beginning three days later on March 25th, 2011. Kalypso has released some new screenshots from their upcoming hero-killing epic, Dungeons. In the game, players build and defend dungeons from traditional fantasy heroes. The game is due out in March of 2011 on the Windows PC platform.
