Greetings, engineers! With the crowdfunding campaign of Dyson Sphere Program nearing 100% of its funding goal, publisher Gamera Game and development studio Youthcat Games release today the new trailer of their space simulation management game. In this brand new video, the game reveals a glimpse of the ultimate goal that players will pursue: the construction of a Dyson Sphere, a megastructure capable of harnessing the power of a star to produce infinite clean energy.

Even in such a difficult and challenging time as this one, Dyson Sphere Program has attracted players from all over the world thanks to its unique blend of exploration of a procedurally generated universe and strategic planning and management, as well as its sci-fi setting and awe-inspiring art style. With more than a week until the crowdfunding campaign is over, and now that the funding goal has almost been achieved, the game invite players to check its stretch goals to help it reach its true potential with even more ambitious features and mechanics.

Last but not least, Youthcat Games are also happy to announce that players that contributed to the higher tiers will soon get beta access to Dyson Sphere Program to start building their interstellar factories. The Game Awards – the video game industry’s biggest annual year-end celebration – streams live and free TONIGHT across more than 45 platforms globally.

Taking a virtual format this year, The Game Awards will air live in 4K UHD from Hollywood, California, with special segments from other locations around the world. The Game Awards celebrates the games from the past year that truly transformed entertainment, created camaraderie and community and pushed the envelope on innovation, while also treating viewers to a number of video game world premieres, with announcements scheduled from Among Us, Call of Duty, Dragon Age, and Crimson Desert, among others!

As an added effect this year, fans can create their own special TGAs moments with six unique augmented reality experiences available on The Game Awards Instagram that can be saved to their camera and shared to Stories or Reels. The AR effects enable users to place The Game Awards statue in their environment and use face effects for the Game of the Year nominees: Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, Hades and The Last of Us Part II.

F1 2020 Receives Free F2 2020 Season Update

After the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship™ went down to the thrilling final race weekend in Bahrain, Codemasters today allows players to rewrite history with a free F2™ 2020 season update as part of F1® 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™. Players can now compete with the full 2020 line-up featuring all 11 teams, cars, and drivers including the new FIA Formula 2™ Champion, Mick Schumacher.

The F2 game option replicates its real world counterpart with 12 weekends, each made up of two races. The first, known as the Feature Race, follows a standard format with drivers lining up based on their qualifying times, and points awarded to the top 10 placings. The second, Sprint Race, sees the Feature Race top eight positions reversed in a shorter race, with fewer points awarded to the top eight drivers. For both, there are two additional points available for the fastest lap.

“Having witnessed an incredible end-of-season battle between Mick Schumacher and Callum Ilott, we’re delighted to give players the free F2 2020 season update,” said Lee Mather, F1 Franchise Game Director at Codemasters. “F2 has proved very popular with our players since its debut in F1 2019, and we know they will enjoy rewriting recent history with the free F1 2020 update. The update enables players to compete with Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin before they join forces as part of Haas F1 Team for 2021.”

F1 2020 is the most comprehensive F1 game to date. Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Team NINJA are excited to announce the latest gameplay details – including weapons! – for their dark fantasy action-RPG, Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition, slated to launch February 5, 2021 on PC via Steam®.

Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition allows players to enjoy its gripping narrative through the eyes of their own half-human, half-yokai custom character, as they begin their journey as a mercenary for hire in Mino province. After succumbing to darkness whilst losing control of their yokai powers, the protagonist encounters a wandering ‘Spirit Stone’ merchant by the name of Tokichiro – who soothes the protagonist’s abilities with his mystical goods. As they both set out in search for the next Spirit Stone buyer, fate throws them into an encounter with none other than Oda Nobunaga himself. The two set off to take the Sengoku period by storm, raising the curtain on the tale of “Hideyoshi”.

The grand narrative reaches greater heights in Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition, as once players finish the base campaign they will be able to continue their adventure in the DLC expansion packs: “The Tengu’s Disciple”, “Darkness in the Capital”, and “The First Samurai”. These expansions not only add new narrative to Nioh 2, but also include a wealth of new weaponry, armor, and challenging new foes that will put even the greatest player’s skills to the test.

Before their journey begins, players will be able to select from one of 16 different weapon types, with each weapon offering their own unique playstyle.
