McFarlane Toys today announced the launch of its stunning DUNE 2021 movie collectible line, which will bring to vivid life the characters featured in the highly-anticipated motion picture from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, due in theaters on October 1, 2021.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister Gets Big Winter Update On Dec 14

Tactical Adventures, a French development studio of passionate RPG game developers and tabletop players, recently released its tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister on Steam Early Access. The game has seen much love from the community, has a very positive Steam user rating (94%) and is receiving its first major update on December 14th. The new Winter Update will include a completely new area and quests, an overhaul of the lighting system, new combat features, more customization options, implementation of the scavenger mechanics, and more. Solasta: Crown of the Magister is coming to GOG on December 14.

Wizards of the Coast has granted Tactical Adventures a license to use the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 content and rules in Solasta: Crown of the Magister.

Solasta is a team-based adventure game where each character plays a critical role in the campaign and can be a hero. The dynamic and mysterious world features elements of verticality, allowing players to use their surroundings as an element of strategy. Players can position ranged characters on high vantage points or send their thief down into shafts and caverns to scope out what lies ahead. In Solasta, light is a tool to explore the depths and hallows of dungeons or can be used as a weapon against the creatures of the dark, but if players aren’t careful, it will give away the party’s position to nasty creatures bent on their demise.

The Tomahawk Gaming Desktop is incredibly small and compact, measuring only 210mm x 150mm x 365mm, a mere 11.5 liters, while still packing an Intel® Core™ i9-9980HK processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 512GB SSD + 2TB HDD, and up-to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 on select models. The Tomahawk Gaming Desktop is powered by the Intel® NUC 9 Extreme Compute Element card which contains the processor, memory, and SSD storage in a single module that is docked into the Tomahawk’s unique sled-based design.

The sled features a PCIe slot to host the Compute Element card, a 750W power supply, a 2TB HDD, and an additional PCIe slot for a graphics card for users opting out of the RTX 3080 equipped model. The sled is securely locked into the chassis via a toolless latch handle and easily slides out to provide users quick access to internal components for future upgrades in as few as three steps.

The desktop is constructed from CNC-milled aluminum, anodized with a matte black finish, and lined at the bottom with Razer Chroma RGB. Something strange is happening in the remote Norwegian village of Sundäe, best known for its delicious, three-testicled salmon. As World War II rages on, Sundäe finds itself an unlikely home to the Third Reich’s Okkulte-55 Division. These devious belligerents seek to harness the region’s supernatural energy to secure Germany’s victory in the global conflict.

As the Okkulte-55 spreads through the once-sleepy hamlet, paranormal researcher Professor Alexei Krakovitz and his trusty assistant Akiro Kagasawa arrive at the Allies’ behest. CATAN Starfarers Expansion Launched

Today, CATAN Studio and Asmodee launched (pun intended) the CATAN Starfarers 5-6 Player Extension, which adds two additional players to the CATAN – Starfarers base game for even more space exploring adventure. The original Starfarers of Catan was released in 1999 and was rebooted in 2019 as CATAN – Starfarers. The new edition features an updated variable board, reimagined art, and newly-engineered player pieces. Bless Unleashed Begins Second Closed Beta on January 14th

Neowiz and Round8 Studio are happy to share that the second Closed Beta Test (2nd CBT) for Bless Unleashed on PC will begin on January 14th and will run for four (4) days. All who pre-register at the official site will get a slew of rewards, including the “Breaker of Games” title, the Golden Hyaenodon mount, and a care package with 50,000 Star Seeds and 200,000 gold.

Sign-ups are live now, and will be accepted through January 10th. Keys will begin sending out on January 5th so that beta testers will have ample time to download the client either through the official launcher (available for download around January 11th) or via Steam in preparation for the CBT’s start on January 14th.

“We’ve been absolutely impressed by the passion of our PC players through the first CBT.” said Jason Park, Round 8 Studio’s head of development. “We’ve made a host of improvements to the game for this 2nd test, and we can’t wait to see what everyone thinks.”
