John de Lancie Virtual Q&A Tonight

John de Lancie, known for his role as the fan favorite character “Q” in the Star Trek franchise, will participate in a live Q&A session on Dec. 8 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT, streaming on both Facebook and YouTube. The actor/director/producer/writer will take questions from fans as well as discuss his recent collaboration with artists who have created a series of fine art prints inspired by de Lancie’s iconic role, available on his newly re-launched website, www.johndelancie.com. Solasta: Crown of the Magister Gets Big Winter Update On Dec 14

Tactical Adventures, a French development studio of passionate RPG game developers and tabletop players, recently released its tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister on Steam Early Access. The game has seen much love from the community, has a very positive Steam user rating (94%) and is receiving its first major update on December 14th. The new Winter Update will include a completely new area and quests, an overhaul of the lighting system, new combat features, more customization options, implementation of the scavenger mechanics, and more. Solasta: Crown of the Magister is coming to GOG on December 14.

Wizards of the Coast has granted Tactical Adventures a license to use the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 content and rules in Solasta: Crown of the Magister.

Solasta is a team-based adventure game where each character plays a critical role in the campaign and can be a hero. The dynamic and mysterious world features elements of verticality, allowing players to use their surroundings as an element of strategy. Players can position ranged characters on high vantage points or send their thief down into shafts and caverns to scope out what lies ahead. In Solasta, light is a tool to explore the depths and hallows of dungeons or can be used as a weapon against the creatures of the dark, but if players aren’t careful, it will give away the party’s position to nasty creatures bent on their demise.

Something strange is happening in the remote Norwegian village of Sundäe, best known for its delicious, three-testicled salmon. Bless Unleashed Begins Second Closed Beta on January 14th

Neowiz and Round8 Studio are happy to share that the second Closed Beta Test (2nd CBT) for Bless Unleashed on PC will begin on January 14th and will run for four (4) days. All who pre-register at the official site will get a slew of rewards, including the “Breaker of Games” title, the Golden Hyaenodon mount, and a care package with 50,000 Star Seeds and 200,000 gold.

Sign-ups are live now, and will be accepted through January 10th. Keys will begin sending out on January 5th so that beta testers will have ample time to download the client either through the official launcher (available for download around January 11th) or via Steam in preparation for the CBT’s start on January 14th.

“We’ve been absolutely impressed by the passion of our PC players through the first CBT.” said Jason Park, Round 8 Studio’s head of development. “We’ve made a host of improvements to the game for this 2nd test, and we can’t wait to see what everyone thinks.”
