Remedy Unveils Zoe’s Mixtape for CONTROL Resonant

Remedy Entertainment, Fried Music and Nordic Music Partners have joined creative forces to produce Zoe’s Mixtape, a compilation of six unique songs specially crafted for CONTROL Resonant. The highly anticipated sequel to Remedy’s critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning CONTROL puts players in the role of Dylan Faden as he unleashes the full force of the paranatural, tearing through surreal, reality-bending encounters and mastering different forms of the Aberrant to overcome overwhelming enemies and monumental bosses.

Zoe’s Mixtape continues the one-of-a-kind, artistic collaboration between Remedy Entertainment’s creative team, Fried Music and Nordic Music Partners. Throughout the game, Dylan develops a friendship with his Federal Bureau of Control handler Zoe, an avid music lover who shares some of her favourite tracks with him during key moments of the story. This selection of tracks is Zoe’s Mixtape, a collection of six original songs that have been created from the ground up by a group of songwriters, producers, and artists.

All tracks from Zoe’s Mixtape are available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and other select streaming platforms.

Every track was written specifically for CONTROL Resonant and is tied to a particular moment in Dylan and Zoe’s journey, helping shape the atmosphere and emotional tone of the game. All the tracks were created in close collaboration with the Remedy team and Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen.

The first single from Zoe’s Mixtape was “Manalan Mailla” featuring Vilma Jää, which debuted alongside the Paranatural Manhattan trailer during Summer Game Fest and went on to attract millions of streams across music platforms.

“It was a fantastic and unique experience to create music for CONTROL Resonant with such a unique team,” said Teemu Brunila, Songwriter. “Remedy once again impressed with their artistic boldness, and it was truly great to have so much creative freedom to create such diverse tracks. The game looks incredible, and it’s an honor to be involved with it!”

“It has been artistically very rewarding to continue and deepen my collaboration with Remedy Entertainment,” said Jurek, Producer/Songwriter. “The original CONTROL is one of my most memorable gaming experiences, so the world and lore were already quite familiar to me. Working alongside Teemu Brunila, Vilma Jää, and Lucas Kihlman was also incredibly inspiring, and I can’t wait to hear the music we created inside the game.”
