The new DLC for the acclaimed title Panzer Corps 2 receives its 16th DLC as the game keeps going strong. This is the first DLC on the Italian front developed by the Italian Team, Volcanite. Panzer Corps 2: Allied Operations – Italy: Vol.1 marks the opening chapter of a grand new Allied trilogy that follows the liberation of Italy from the beaches of Sicily to the final victory on the Italian mainland.
Players will command the combined British and American armies during one of the most ambitious military operations of World War II: Operation Husky, the Allied invasion of Sicily. The campaign recreates the largest amphibious landing in history up to that point, where the Axis war machine began its irreversible collapse.
Players must overcome determined Italian and German resistance, executing coordinated offensives that will shape the future of the entire Italian campaign.
Innovative Campaign Structure
Allied Operations – Italy: Vol.1 introduces an evolving dual-campaign system where the British and American offensives unfold simultaneously before merging into a single Allied force. Players can combine British and American core armies into one powerful fighting force, leveraging each faction’s unique strengths while adapting to dynamic battlefield conditions.
The campaign also introduces Commendation Points, earned through bonus objectives and varying victory levels. These points can be spent on valuable rewards including captured enemy equipment, prototype vehicles, and even historical officers who can join the player’s ranks.
Historical heroes and authentic wartime operations further enhance the experience, recreating key moments from the Sicilian campaign with historically inspired objectives and tactical challenges.
