astragon is pleased to announce that Seafarer: The Ship Sim will leave Steam Early Access on September 24. At the same time, the approachable ship simulation will launch for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders for the console versions are available now.
The new Console Announcement Trailer offers a glimpse of what awaits players at sea:
In Seafarer: The Ship Sim, players take the helm of a wide variety of vessels and accept diverse assignments in numerous ports. These include transport jobs, patrol and rescue missions, firefighting operations, and unexpected events at sea. Whether transporting different types of cargo – such as bulk goods, containers, and liquefied gas—between ports or responding to emergency calls as part of the Coast Guard, players will face a wide range of challenges on the open water.
Seafarer: The Ship Sim launched in Steam Early Access on October 7, 2025. Since then, the ship simulation has been continuously expanded with new content and features. Thanks to the recently added cooperative multiplayer mode, up to four players can now set sail together and tackle the many challenges that await them at sea.
Seafarer: The Ship Sim will also launch for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 24 at a price of $34.99 / 34.99€. Players who pre-order one of the console versions will receive the Voyager Pack at no additional cost. The pack includes two additional ships as well as a selection of cosmetic items that allow players to customize the appearance of their captain.
All Editions and offers of Seafarer: The Ship Sim can be found on the official website.
