Pokémon GO has just revealed Gold Bottle Caps, an all-new rare item that allows players to increase the HP, Attack, and Defense of a Pokémon that is a Good Buddy or higher through Hyper Training. Once selected, players must complete specific Training Tasks themed to the stats they intend to raise.
This new item will be a feature reward in GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered, available Monday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 29, at 6:00 p.m. local time.
To celebrate the Ancients Recovered event, all Trainers worldwide will automatically receive a free GO Pass on Monday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. local time, which will include rewards such as:
- A random encounter with a Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, or Regidrago that has a Special Background
- Encounters with dapper Pikachu with red, blue, or yellow accents
- Even more themed Pokémon
- Additional items including Stardust, XP, Poké Balls, and Candy
For an additional cost, Trainers looking for upgraded rewards like the Gold Bottle Cap, powerful event bonuses, and faster progression can upgrade their free GO Pass to GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered. On top of the Gold Bottle Cap, players will see additional rewards including:
- A Zacian Mask avatar item
- A Zamazenta Mask avatar item
- Premium items such as Incense, a Lucky Egg, an Incubator, Lure Modules, and more.
