Leading UK games publisher Kwalee and Polish independent developer Hyperstrange, are excited to announce the release date for upcoming 3D Action Survivorslike, Hordes of Hunger. This roguelite arena-slasher with survivorslike progression, where players battle relentless waves of monsters, will launch in Early Access on PC via Steam on 6th May 2025.
In Hordes of Hunger, players take control of Mirah, a fearless warrior. Join her heroic battle against a malevolent evil and hordes of monsters as she defends her homeland from a living hunger, wields powerful weapons and abilities, and saves others from the advancing hordes.
Developed by Hyperstrange, Hordes of Hunger blends fast-paced third-person hack ‘n slash combat, high production values, and an evolving narrative, bringing fresh depth to the ever-growing Survivorslike genre.
Ahead of launch, players can dive into an updated demo now available on Steam. The latest demo introduces expanded skill trees, weapon upgrades, and character progression, offering deeper gameplay experiences. The demo also includes an updated parry system with improved animations and indications.
