Players take the role of the titular Rogue Trader, the leader of a mighty starfaring voidship and its crew. Whether enacting gunboat diplomacy with newly discovered planets, leading from the frontline in turn-based tactical combat, or engaging in thrilling voidship battles with pirates and renegades, the Rogue Trader’s fate is truly in their own hands.

A Rogue Trader is only as strong as their crew, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader gives plenty of options from across the Warhammer 40,000 landscape. Perhaps a rigid adherence to the Imperial Creed leads them to the devout Battle Sister Argenta or the unstoppable Space Wolf Ulfar. Will they see the value in the more unconventional crew members such as Idira, an Unsanctioned Psyker, or Cold Trader Jae?
