Let’s face it: the GoPro Hero 12 Black is barely an upgrade over the 11. Simply put, GoPro blew it this year. Thankfully, DJI picked up the slack with the DJI Osmo Action 4. The Osmo Action 4 features a new 1/1.3″ inch image sensor, 10-bit and D-Log M modes, and the best magnetic quick-release system ever to grace a camera. It’s also way more competitively priced than GoPro’s “upgrade.”

Sony ZV-1 II Vlog Camera
The Sony ZV-1 II vlog camera is an outstanding portable camera for content creators. With a 1-inch-type stacked image sensor and artificially intelligent onbord microphone system, not to mention wide-angle lens, the camera is pretty great. It’s biggest issues are its high price point and lack of optical image stabilization.
