The standard Microsoft controller has a much crisper, clicky D-pad, which helps to provide tactile feedback to the player. PDP’s Afterglow Wave is mushy and, while it does work, doesn’t provide much tactile feedback.
The biggest draws of the PDP Afterglow Wave are its RGB LED lighting and programmable buttons. The controller is compatible with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It is also officially licensed by Microsoft. It is designed to be comfortable to hold, with a contoured grip that fits snugly in the hands. The controller also has textured triggers and bumpers, which provide a good grip. The back buttons are also well-placed and easy to reach.
