Easy Day Studios launched a new update today for Skater XL that celebrates the upcoming 28th Annual Tampa Pro skateboarding competition and the first-ever Skater XL Tampa Pro Esports Contest. Based on the real-life Skatepark of Tampa, the new 2022 Skatepark Of Tampa Pro Coursemap will include updated elements based on the pro course for the upcoming Tampa Pro competition, including course artwork by famous skate artist Lucas Beaufort.

This map will also be used as the main competition course for the Skater XL Tampa Pro Esports Contest on May 7. Over 300 “fake skaters” around the world have submitted entries for selection into the final pool of contestants and will go head-to-head live online in the first virtual version of the Tampa Pro skateboarding competition.

The Skater XL Tampa Pro Esports Contest will be livestreamed on the official Skater XL Twitch Channel on May 7 and will be hosted by skateboarding YouTube creator Garrett Ginner. For more details, please visit the official Skater XL Instagram.

Skater XL is now available for $39.99 USD on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, and at brick and mortar retailers for PS4 and Xbox One. For the latest news and updates on Skater XL, follow the game on Instagram and Twitter, “Like” us on Facebook, and visit the official website, SkaterXL.com.
