Fremont, CA – January 22, 2019 – Today AOC, a worldwide leader in monitor display technology, announces two new curved gaming monitors to add to their premium AGON 3 Series collection – the AG273QCG and the AG273QCX.

The AGON 3 Series is made for gaming enthusiasts who want stunning visual displays with no stuttering, tearing or lagging. Ideal for RPG or simulation games, the AGON 3 Series curved monitors allow for an immersive gaming experience with the HDR with FreeSync and G-SYNC technology. Gamers can enjoy the smoothest and fastest gaming experience with a serious competitive edge. Plus, the AGON 3 Series features the AGON Game Light FX on the back of the monitors, which is a ring of highly customizable RGB LED lights that can create thousands of different colors for immersive ambient lighting when gaming at night.

The AG273QCG is a curved 27-inch, QHD HDR gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 165Hz, 1ms response time and G-SYNC technology by NVIDIA. It features G-SYNC that delivers advanced HDR display with minimal input lag, high refresh rates and ultra-low motion blur. G-SYNC synchronizes the display’s refresh rates to the GPU in gamers’ Adaptive-Sync compatible PC to eliminate screen-tearing and minimize display stutter and input lag. G-SYNC ensures a stutter-free and tear-free gaming experience at any frame rate for ultra-fast responsiveness. Compared to other monitors, objects look sharper, gameplay is more responsive and fluid, and scenes appear instantly and more vibrant.

The AG273QCG features a 2560 x 1440 QHD screen with a 1800R curve. The curved VA panel offers vibrant colors for a more exciting and immersive visual experience while gaming. Because our eyes are curved, they have a limited field of view. The monitor curvatures conforms to the way we see and helps reduce eye fatigue while putting you in the center of the action.

The AG273QCX is a curved, 27-inch QHD DisplayHDR 400 gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz, 1ms response time and AMD’s FreeSync2 technology. FreeSync2 is AMD’s HDR-compatible technology that correctly maps colors to HDR. The AG273QCX features a 2560 x 1440 QHD display with a 1800R curve. The curved VA panel offers vibrant colors with high dynamic range for a more exciting and immersive visual experience while gaming.

The display features AMD FreeSync2 technology to provide a smooth, fast and visually stunning gaming experience, with support for HDR visuals. FreeSync2 synchronizes the display’s refresh rates to the GPU in gamers’ AMD-powered PCs to eliminate screen-tearing and minimize display stutter and input lag. This results in fluid and responsive gameplay, with objects appearing sharper and scenes appearing instantly and more vibrant compared to other monitors.

The AGON 3 Series also features AOC monitor technologies, including Shadow Control and Flicker-Free Technology. With Shadow Control from AOC, gamers can bring the battle out of the shadows by adjusting the levels to increase contrast for better dark areas without affecting the rest of the screen. The AGON 3 Series also features eye-protecting AOC Flicker-Free Technology to reduce eye strain, discomfort, and fatigue during extended gaming sessions. Unlike normal gaming monitors which regulate brightness with Pulse Width Modulation, the Flick-Free Technology from AOC regulates brightness with a direct current backlight system to reduce flicker and relieve eye discomfort.

The AG273QCX is now available at Amazon and NewEgg for $500.00 MSRP and the AG273QCG is now available at Amazon and NewEgg for $650.00 MSRP.
