Shoppe Keep 2 Reveal Trailer

January 11, 2018 – Shoppe Keep 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2015 original, will launch in Early Access for PC on 26th April 2018. Take a look at the brand new reveal trailer.

The new game will expand upon the unique concept and gameplay of the original Shoppe Keep. Players will be tasked with running and growing their own fantasy store, selling armour, weapons and potions to adventurers and NPCs – but this time they won’t be alone. Brand new to Shoppe Keep 2 is online multiplayer, which will see players teaming up with friends in order to run a store together.

Shoppe Keep 2 also features a diverse open world for players to explore, full of dangerous creatures to hunt and rare loot to find – all of which feed into the titular Shoppe Keeping.

Take on a venomous spider and sell its poison, or hunt for special loot that will make quite the profit. With players themselves adventuring this time around, they will also need to kit themselves out with armour, weapons and potions – which is why every single item that can be sold to customers can also be equipped or used by the player character.

To keep up to date with everything Shoppe Keep 2, players should add the game to their Steam wishlist.

SteelSeries Unveils TrueMove3+ Gaming Mouse Dual Sensor System

LAS VEGAS (CES) – January 10, 2017 – Today, SteelSeries announces a new innovation in gaming sensor technology with the Rival 600 gaming mouse and TrueMove3+ dual sensor system. Unveiled at CES 2018, the TrueMove3+ dual sensor system features the SteelSeries TrueMove3 as its primary sensor, but also features a second optical sensor that exclusively tracks lift-off distance. The Rival 600 is a gaming mouse designed for competitive gamers who want the most accurate sensor available and unlimited physical and technical customization options. This technology removes all possibility of jitter and cursor disparity on liftoff movements and offers the lowest lift-off distance in the market.

“This is a breakthrough in gaming mouse sensor technology,” said SteelSeries CEO, Ehtisham Rabbani. “We took a massive leap forward in sensor innovation with Pixart with the TrueMove3 sensor in the Rival 310 and Sensei 310. Now we’re taking that innovation even further by combining the true 1-to-1 tracking of the TrueMove3 with a second optical sensor for precision. It’s the only dual optical sensor system in the world that can offer this level of precision and accuracy of movement.”

The TrueMove3+ Sensor: Two Sensors – Next Level Precision

The Rival 600 is the most precise and customizable mouse that gives gamers unmatched precision and increased accuracy. The TrueMove3+ combines the first true 1-to-1 tracking sensor with a second Pixart sensor exclusively tracking the liftoff distance.

The TrueMove3 is a 12,000 CPI, 350 IPS optical sensor that SteelSeries built with sensor industry leader, PixArt. Its ultra-low-latency, rapid-response tracking delivers the most natural and accurate mouse movement. Unlike other mouse sensors bogged down with inefficient jitter reduction and tracking latency, TrueMove 3’s 1-to-1 tracking from 100 to 12,000 CPI delivers true esports performance. The TrueMove3 was first introduced with the Rival 310 and Sensei 310 gaming mice. The custom-engineered TrueMove3 SROM dramatically reduces response time and greatly increases accuracy.

The second sensor allows gamers to adjust their lift-off distance like never before. Gamers can customize when the sensor stops and starts tracking when the mouse is lifted off its mat. This eliminates extra movement when gamers pick up and put down their mouse. The second sensor also features linear optical detection for true depth perception for the world’s most precise lift-off detection down to 0.5mm.

Rival 600

The Rival 600 is the newest member of the Rival family. In addition to the next-level sensor system, the Rival 600 also features customizable weight and balance options for up to 256 different combinations. Unlike most other weighted mice that feature weights that stack in one location of the mouse, the Rival 600’s weights are placed in the sides. This allows gamers to adjust the weight throughout the body of the mouse, so they can balance the mouse’s center of gravity to their grip and gameplay style. The Rival 600 weighs just 96g without weights and comes with eight included 4g weights.

To achieve its surprisingly light weight of just 96g, every material for the Rival 600 was carefully crafted for functionality, weight reduction and extreme durability. The left/right clicks feature a revolutionary reinforced trigger system that delivers the best clicks in gaming. SteelSeries’ exclusive 60-million click mechanical switches ensure every type of press is executed with precision.

Like the rest of the Rival line, the Rival 600 is an ergonomic right-handed mouse. Whether gamers use a claw grip or palm grip, the shape will provide perfect comfort for long and intense gaming sessions. It also features pure silicone grips and an ultra-durable soft touch finish. Inside it has a powerful 32-bit ARM processor that allows gamers to save CPI settings, button remappings and macros and lighting effects on-board for software-free use at LAN events and tournaments.

The Rival 600 is also compatible with SteelSeries Engine Software, which unlocks an impressive arsenal of Engine Apps that make customization of the 8-zone RGB lighting easy and intuitive. The Discord and GameSense Engine Apps allow for chat notifications, in-game events, and more.

The Rival 600, exclusively featuring the SteelSeries TrueMove3+ Dual Sensor System, is available now online at SteelSeries.com and Amazon for $79.99. For more information about SteelSeries’ Rival 600 or SteelSeries complete selection of gaming accessories, visit http://steelseries.com/rival600.

Orion Pictures Acquires Distribution Rights for Zombie Musical Anna and the Apocalypse

Los Angeles – January 9, 2018 — Orion Pictures, recently relaunched by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) as a new, stand-alone U.S. theatrical marketing and distribution company, has acquired the North American and Latin American rights to John McPhail’s award-winning zombie holiday musical Anna and the Apocalypse. The announcement was made today by John Hegeman, President, Orion Pictures.  Orion plans to release Anna and the Apocalypse in the 2018 holiday season.

The film stars Ella Hunt (Our Robot Overlords) as Anna, Mark Benton (The Halcyon), Paul Kaye (Game Of Thrones) and a breakout group of emerging talent including Malcom Cumming, Ben Wiggins, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux and Marli Siu. Embraced by fans and critics alike, the film’s world premiere at Fantastic Fest this year was met with critical acclaim. It also played at Sitges Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Midnight X-Treme Feature Length Film.

Anna and the Apocalypse is based on the 2010 BAFTA winning short film Zombie Musical; directed by John McPhail (Where Do We Go From Here); written by Alan McDonald and the late Ryan McHenry (Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal viral series); with original music by Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly. The film was produced by Naysun Alae-Carew and Nicholas Crum of Blazing Griffin in association with Tracy Jarvis of Parkhouse Pictures and Creative Scotland.

Hegeman said, “The team at Orion can’t wait to work with Blazing Griffin in making Anna and the Apocalypse a holiday spectacular for the ages. Nothing gets the blood flowing like a good holiday musical.”

“The Orion logo was on the front of so many of our favorite films growing up.  It’s a real honor that Anna and the Apocalypse will join the ranks of the films that inspired us. We are elated to have a partner in Orion that is as passionate about our film as we are,” said Blazing Griffin Producer Naysun Alae-Carew.

In Anna and the Apocalypse, a zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her high school friends to fight, sing and slash their way to survival with a fast-spreading undead horde in relentless pursuit. Teaming up with her best friend John, Anna and her crew fight their way through zombified snowmen, a ravenous bachelor party and high school hormones to try and save family and faculty alike. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and the only people they can truly rely on are each other.

Anna and the Apocalypse marks the first acquisition for Orion since announcing its return to wide release theatrical distribution last Fall.  Orion’s first release, the YA romance Every Day, based on David Levithan’s New York Times best-selling novel of the same name, will debut in U.S. theaters on February 23, 2018 and is directed by Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Michael Sucsy, written by Jesse Andrews and produced by Likely Story and Film Wave, stars Angourie Rice, Justice Smith, Maria Bello and Debby Ryan.

The deal was negotiated by Nate Bolotin of XYZ Films on behalf of the filmmakers. International territories are represented by James Norrie of AMP International.
