Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Release Date

OSLO, Norway – November 13th, 2018 – Funcom is excited to announce that Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, the tactical adventure game combining real-time exploration with XCOM-like turn-based tactical combat, will be launching December 4th on XBOX Game Pass. The game will also be available on both PC and PlayStation 4 the same day and is now available for pre-order on both these platforms.

Players pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition on PC via buy.mutantyearzero.com will now also get instant access to a demo version that includes the first 2-4 hours of the game.

Funcom today also released a brand-new gameplay video from the game, where Producer Mike Parker takes viewers through the Scraplands, an area from the game never shown before. Watch how he uses stealth to his advantage in the tactical gameplay, tipping the odds in his favor, before taking on the boss and his henchmen.

The game is developed by a team made up of former HITMAN and PAYDAY lead developers. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden have been collecting both awards and praise from press who have gotten hands-on time with the game. The game was revealed earlier this year and the reveal CGI trailer made the game’s unique anthropomorphic characters “go viral”. Based on the Swedish pen and paper RPG Mutant, the game puts you in the hooves of Bormin the boar and the webbed feet of Dux the duck as they explore a post-human Earth.

Warhammer Vermintide 2 – Back to Ubersreik Teaser Trailer

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – November 12, 2018. Independent developer Fatshark are looking in the rear-view mirror and bringing back Horn of Magnus, as well as two more levels from the multimillion selling first instalment of Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide.

Warhammer Vermintide 2 – Back to Ubersreik DLC will arrive in December 2018, and will take nostalgic players back to the year 2015. However, history has been rewritten – the experience will be amplified! Bigger, better, and crazier!

Remastered and Amplified

Horn of Magnus and other favorite stages from the original Vermintide game has been overhauled and have never been more beautiful. Unfortunately, players will not have time to admire the levels, as Chaos join the Skaven to make sure they are not on the losing side this time around.

The Back to Ubersreik DLC levels are based on playtime in the first game. Horn of Magnus was the most popular stage, and also the level that was revealed first from the original game.

December Release

Vermintide 2 is a visually stunning and groundbreaking melee action game pushing the boundaries of the first person co-op genre. Set during the apocalyptic End Times of the Warhammer world – the game introduces the dark, bloody and twisted forces of Chaos as an enemy faction. Just Cause 4: Eye of The Storm Cinematic Trailer

November 12, 2018 – JUST CAUSE 4 gears up for launch next month with the release of a brand new, Eye of The Storm Cinematic Trailer, which first aired as part of the special X018 episode of Inside Xbox live from Mexico City.

JUST CAUSE 4 introduces a new adrenaline-fuelled chapter for rogue agent Rico Rodriguez. After Rico lands in Solís to uncover the truth behind his father’s death, he comes face-to-face with the expert Black Hand militia, led by the ruthless Gabriela.

This high-octane CGI trailer is produced and directed by Visual Works in collaboration with Director’s Duo. The title track, ‘I’m Just (Remix)’ by Artizan, is one of four tracks created for JUST CAUSE 4 which are out now for digital download. The full Just Cause album releases on December 4 to tie in with release of the game. Watch out for the extremely limited edition coloured vinyl too!

November 12, 2018 – Woody and the rest of the toys are back for an all-new adventure in “Toy Story 4,” welcoming new friends to Bonnie’s room, including a reluctant new toy called Forky. “Like most people, I assumed that ‘Toy Story 3’ was the end of the story,” said director Josh Cooley. “And it was the end of Woody’s story with Andy. But just like in life, every ending is a new beginning. Woody now being in a new room, with new toys, and a new kid, was something we have never seen before. The questions of what that would be like became the beginning of an entertaining story worth exploring.”

But Forky insists that he is NOT a toy! An actual spork-turned-craft-project, Forky is pretty sure that he doesn’t belong in Bonnie’s room. Unfortunately, every time he tries to get away, someone yanks him back into an adventure he’d rather skip. “The world of Toy Story is built upon the idea that everything in the world has a purpose,” said Cooley. “A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child. But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfill his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him.”

Filmmakers called on comedian Tony Hale to provide the voice of Forky. “It’s a huge thrill to be part of the Toy Story family,” he said. “But it’s going to take a while for it to really sink in.”

Said Cooley, “When we thought up this character, Tony was the first actor that came to mind and I’m thrilled he accepted. Tony’s performance as Forky is a comedy salad of confidence, confusion, and empathy… served by hilarious spork.”

How were filmmakers able to convince Hale to give voice to Forky? “A utensil’s existential crisis?” he asked. “I’m in!”

The Game Awards Announces 40 Global Video Network Streaming

LOS ANGELES (November 9, 2018) – The Game Awards, the video game industry’s biggest celebration, is leveling up to reach even more gamers in 2018. This year’s gala broadcast, set for Thursday, December 6 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will livestream to gamers around the world across a record-setting 40 global video networks, including expanded distribution in China.

Hailed by The New York Times as “The Oscars of the gaming world,” The Game Awards reached over 18 million viewers in 2017. Designed exclusively for digital streaming platforms, The Game Awards brings together game developers, Esports champions, digital influencers and Hollywood names for a night of awards, exclusive new game announcements and musical performances. The Game Awards is available to watch for free across every major mobile, desktop and console devices used to play video games.

Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive today released the Official HITMAN 2 Gameplay Launch Trailer, celebrating the upcoming November 13 release of the ultimate stealth-action video game. HITMAN 2 will feature a brand-new playground for Agent 47, the world’s deadliest assassin, with six dynamic locations to explore, franchise-first multiplayer modes in Sniper Assassin and Ghost Mode, and a myriad of new enhancements and upgrades that truly perfect the assassination sandbox experience.

Additionally, fans were recently given the opportunity to vote on a unique object to be unlocked in the first Elusive Target mission coming to HITMAN 2. Given the choice between a Flash Grenade Robot, Earphones Garotte and Explosive Pen, the Explosive Pen came out victorious and will be available in Elusive Target No. 1 Starring Sean Bean. A helicopter crash left a group of explorers stranded near an Arctic base. As they try to find a way back, all they are doing is sinking deeper into a nightmare scenario. When they sleep, they attract a terrifying force that sucks the life out of their bodies, but the longer they battle exhaustion and stay awake, the less likely they are to survive…

As the survivors try to sleep just enough to stave off fatigue without dying, they slowly go mad and eventually reach the point where they can no longer trust their senses. In time, they can’t even tell the difference between reality and a hallucination.

11/8/2018 – Frontier Developments plc today announced Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu DLC, coming 20 November for PC, the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft. Based on Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s blockbuster franchise, and created in collaboration with Universal, Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu expands the Jurassic World Evolution campaign with new missions and an all-new Jurassic World story.

Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu unlocks new campaign missions, putting players in control of two hidden research facilities on Isla Muerta and Isla Tacaño where Dr. Henry Wu, voiced by BD Wong, is developing a new generation of hybrid dinosaurs. Players will confront an elevated level of chaos and threat caused by Wu’s machinations as they work alongside the doctor and discover new dig sites, facility upgrades and research opportunities.

Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu also introduces the herbivore Olorotitan and the venomous Troodon to Jurassic World Evolution, alongside three new Wu-created hybrids: the Stegoceratops, Ankylodocus and Spinoraptor. Players can progress through Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu missions to unlock new upgrades and research options that can be used throughout the Jurassic World Evolution campaign, including the Indominus Rex’s unique camouflage gene as seen in 2015’s Jurassic World.
