SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 18, 2017 – Global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) and mobile game trendsetter Next Games, specializing in developing mobile games based on entertainment franchises, have announced they are teaming up for a joint presence at this week’s Comic-Con International: San Diego. Located at booth #4045, the exhibition will feature a variety of demos, challenges, prizes and swag from fan-favorites like Saban’s Power Rangers, The Walking Dead and John Wick.
Power Rangers fans will want to stop by the booth for a chance to play the real-time multiplayer fighting game Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, from Lionsgate, Saban Brands and developer nWay, with the original Green Ranger himself, actor Jason David Frank. Everyone that challenges him in the #GreenRangerTakedown will snag special Power Rangers swag. Jason David Frank will be in the Lionsgate booth July 21-23 from 11 a.m. to noon each day.
The booth will feature demos of the VR shooter John Wick Chronicles from Starbreeze and Lionsgate, Next Games’ critically acclaimed The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, the official mobile game of AMC’s blockbuster television program, and Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, the first mobile game to feature Rangers and villains from 24 years of the TV show and the feature film Saban’s Power Rangers. In addition, indie developer Bloober Team will be on hand as friends of Lionsgate to present their upcoming original horror title, >observer_. Set in a bleak and gritty cyberpunk dystopia, the game tells the story of a neural detective entangled in a series of brutal and mysterious murders.
