Thursday 7th April, 2016 – nDreams, the UK’s largest developer/publisher solely focused on creating virtual reality (VR) games and experiences, are thrilled to announce that The Assembly – the studio’s first major title for high-end VR headsets – will be released for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive this summer and will launch on PlayStation 4 following the release of PlayStation VR.
You can watch The Assembly’s trailer: https://youtu.be/Wuc9Y811Pkk.
The Assembly is an immersive, interactive story in first-person VR where there are two sides to everything. Built from the ground up as a perfect introduction to VR, The Assembly offers an experience where perspectives shift, the truth is never clear, and a question is always left open: When does the end justify the means?
The game centres around the eponymous Assembly, an enigmatic collective that has hidden itself from the world so as to conduct its experiments outside the constraints of government scrutiny and society’s morals. But what secrets is it hiding? What will it sacrifice in the name of progress? That’s for players to discover by taking on the role of two different protagonists, who both have the chance to shake the foundations of this mysterious organisation.
nDreams will be releasing additional information and assets for the game over the coming weeks in the run-up to the game’s launch. For more information, please visit The Assembly’s website,Facebook page, Pinterest board and YouTube playlist.
Also this week, nDreams will be offering all attendees of EGX Rezzed at London’s Tobacco Dock the chance to win one of five free copies of The Assembly, as well as hands-on sessions with a brand new playable demo of the game. For full details, follow this link.
