#1. The Visit
While not a traditional horror movie, The Visit was my most favorite of 2015. I was completely blown away by this return to greatness by M. Night Shyamalan. It is the story of two children who meet their estranged grandparents for the first time and the creepy jump fest that follows. Of course, there is a Shyamalan twist, but don’t look for it – just enjoy the ride. The performances of youngsters Olivia DeJonge and Ed Oxenbould are incredible and they exhibit acting chops beyond their years in this. It is funny, scary, and has a terrific story.
