2. Bone Tomahawk
Bone Tomahawk is a force of nature…. It is intense, gritty, raw – and just plain awesome. To sum up the film is to spoil the film – however, you can’t avoid it. Take heart, as the greatness of this film is not the synopsis, it is the story and performances. Kurt Russell, in full Western facial hair, plays a sheriff that quests along with a few others to rescue a woman taken by what the natives call “Troglodytes”. This is the most violent Western I can remember seeing.
