3. The Final Girls
The Final Girls is one of those film gems that came out of nowhere and hit me like a ton of bricks. Not only does it deal with the very human topics of loss and regret, but also with the bonds between parent and child. It cleverly wraps all this up in a horror movie that entertains and gets you right “in the feels”. I laughed, I jumped, I cried. Check this one out!
