Brighton, June 12th, 2012 – They’re fast, they’re powerful and they’re armed up to the radiator grill: Publisher Lace Mamba Global and developer Active Zone Group put players behind the wheels of some extremely futuristic vehicles – in Death Road, the upcoming action-packed high velocity racing game for PC. Today, Lace Mamba Global announces to publish digital and retail editions of the game. The release is scheduled for August 10th, 2012, in the UK and Ireland. Additional local release dates will be announced separately.

Death Road offers a full single player campaign and arcade multiplayer races for up to 8 pilots, featuring 7 gameplay modes, ranging from standard races and time trials to combat, elimination and mine field modes. Players choose from 11 different hovering and flying racing spacecrafts. Equipped with different weapon systems, ranging from lasers to tactical nukes, it’s not only speeding skills that will make a difference, but also the wise use of lethal force. Throughout the game, players will be awarded with special achievements for epic feats.

There are eight different racing tracks in Death Road, taking players through desert or city locations, or even old factory areas.

Death Road will be released in the UK and Ireland on August 10th, 2012. The recommended retail price is £19.99 / €19.99. Further releases in more territories world-wide will follow, for example on October 05th, 2012, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
