Carlsbad, Calif.– March 22nd 2012- Razer, one of the world’s pioneering supporters of e-Sports and Maximum Impact Gaming, the OnGameNet League of Legends Invitational champions, are proud to announce they will be working together in the future to bring more attention to the growing Korean League of Legends scene in Razer’s continued effort to support and develop e-Sports in Korea

MiG Frost, one of the organization’s two League of Legends squads, burst onto the scene last year when it took second place at the Korean WCG qualifiers, and then went on to represent Korea at the OGN League of Legends Invitational. Team captain Jang Gun “Woong” Woong expertly guided the fledgling Korean team to progress in the OGN League of Legends Invitational and also defeated global phenomenon Counter Logic Gaming in the grand finals to take first place. MiG will receive a direct invite to the upcoming televised League of Legends ProLeague, held in Korea. With the MiG gaming house in Seoul now up and running, MiG is more than ready to play a major role in the development of the Korean professional League of Legends scene.

“We really felt MiG would benefit greatly by moving onward in the League of Legends scene with the support of a sponsor,” said MiG’s in-game leader Yoonsup “Locodoco” Choi. “Most of the players were playing with second-grade gear, and with the switch to Razer products, our play has improved. Even though we were successful at the Invitational, now is not the time to get complacent, and we’re ready to make Korea and Razer proud in the first season of the OGN League.”

“The Korean League of Legends scene is really exploding, and MiG consists of fresh, talented and hungry players,” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President of Razer USA. “With an experienced in-game leader in Locodoco, we’re confident they will prove MiG is not a one-hit wonder and are looking forward to see what they are capable of in the upcoming OGN League.”
