Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a new multiplayer vignette for their upcoming horror-shooter, FEAR 3. FEAR 3 is due out in June for the Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 platforms and puts players into the shoes of Alma’s spawn.

We have long-known of Gearbox Software’s Aliens: Colonial Marines and the ill-fated Aliens RPG from Obsidian. Now, CVG reports that SEGA has hired their long-time strategy stallion, The Creative Assembly, to create a new title based on the horror IP which Creative Director Mike Simpson says will be a “peer to Dead Space”. The Creative Assembly, known for their Total War series, is ramping up production on the title by adding on roughly forty additional employees.
No word yet on a release date, but we expect more Aliens-related news when we visit SEGA’s booth at E3 in a few weeks. Perhaps we can get a look at Colonial Marines?!?
Electronic Arts has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming SpeedHunters DLC pack for SHIFT 2 Unleashed. Due out May 17th, SpeedHunters features two brand-new racing modes as well as new tracks and a grip of new vehicles to race and customize.

Bethesda Softworks has released a new behind-the-scenes trailer for their upcoming third-person actioner, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, talking about what went in to creating the game’s various creatures as well as creating the combat experiences with them. Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is due out on May 31st for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.

Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have released some new screenshots from their upcoming first-person shooter, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which is due out on August 23rd across North America. The game is a prequel to the original Deus Ex and is being developed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC platforms.
SouthPeak Games has announced that it will be publishing Heatwave Interactive’s upcoming MMO, Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising, in North America. Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising puts players into a world steeped in Greek and Roman mythology as they do battle with all manner of classic creatures like Gorgons, etc.
“The unique Roman setting and deep gameplay of Gods & Heroes is a fantastic title to add to our portfolio,” said Melanie Mroz, CEO SouthPeak Games. “The team at Heatwave Interactive is creating a truly fantastic massively multiplayer title that we’re sure will have excellent broad appeal, from dedicated MMO players looking for something new, to those interested in a rich story inspired by ancient mythology. Backflip Studios and MGM have announced the release of their new tower defense game based on the cult-status IP, Army of Darkness. Army of Darkness: Defense retails for $2.99 on the iPhone/iPod Touch platforms and $6.99 on the iPad platform. The game puts players into the boots of wise-cracking time-traveler Ash as he fights off hordes of evil Deadites.
NZXT has unveiled a stylish new fan controller designed to fit inside one of your PC’s available drive bays. The Sentry Mesh Fan Controller features five 30W control sliders as well as mesh facade. It is available now for a retail price of $24.95.

Battlefront.com has announced the release of the Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy demo on the Windows and Mac PC platforms. The demo allows players to take part in three missions as well as get a taste of the scenario editor (although some functionality is disabled). The Windows PC build weighs in at 571 MB while the Mac version comes in at 622 MB. The retail version of the game is expected to hit gold status any day now.
