In his latest podcast, Microsoft’s ‘Major Nelson’ mentioned that he would be going to San Francisco this week for a special, pre-GDC press conference that would feature several announcements. Rumors abound over this special press conference, which is set to take place on February 24th, with talk point to a Kinect title based on the Gears of War IP as well as a new Halo title. We are having an invite-only press event that we’re going to have some cool news that I’m not quite fully briefed on, but we have a lot of news that we’re going to be announcing.
