According to an official SEC filing, Bethsoft parent publisher ZeniMax paid $105 million US Dollars to purchase Doom-developer Id Software. The deal was first announced back in June. Id Software has recently released Doom 3d for the iPhone and is working on a new Wolfenstein game as well as a title using their still in-development game engine known as ‘Rage’.
