Publisher of tabletop roleplaying games, wargames and board games, Modiphius Entertainment has today shared new illustrations to be featured in the eagerly awaited quest book for Fallout the Roleplaying Game, Royal Flush.
Available for pre-order from Wednesday 24th September, Royal Flush takes players back to New Vegas and the Mojave Wasteland, where they discover a plot to bring war back to the West. Starting in New Reno—a location originally in Fallout 2—players find a body in a ditch. Hired to find out what happened, the players enter the criminal underbelly of the city, and investigate the sudden boom in military grade firearms turning up in the hands of the least likely, and most bloodthirsty, groups in the area.
With so many bullets available, old tensions begin to rise. It is only a matter of time before that much firepower causes the entire Mojave to explode… unless someone does something about it. The quest book will give players the opportunity to visit New Vegas and explore a new region on the border of the Mojave: the Sierras.
The new artwork features brand new illustrations of the Mojave Wasteland, Hoover Dam, New Vegas, and The Strip, as well as new locations being explored by the tabletop RPG supplement, like Tahoe and Carson, commissioned by Modiphius Entertainment specifically for these new tabletop RPG quests.

The fog is calling, and we have answered! Last night, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Knott’s Scary Farm “Nightmares Revealed” event, where all the terrifying details for the 2025 season were unveiled. The air was thick with anticipation, and the energy from the crowd of fellow haunt fans was electric. Now, we’re here to give you a full recap of the night’s chilling announcements and our firsthand experience from beginning to end!
The Journey Into Fear
Our night began as we arrived around 6:00 PM. The check-in process was a breeze—a huge shout-out to the Knott’s PR team for running such a smooth and efficient operation. At 6:30 PM, the gates creaked open, and we were guided into the park. The official start at 7:00 PM was nothing short of spectacular. The iconic Scary Farm Conductor character appeared for a small gate-opening ceremony, his ominous voice setting the perfect tone.
But this was no ordinary walk to a stage. We were led to the railroad tracks near Calico, where a grim scene was unfolding: the public hanging of an alleged witch, Sarah Marshall. Just as the sheriff was about to seal her fate, the witch turned the tables, screaming a curse upon the town and unleashing a horde of monstrous creatures that burst into the crowd for a series of fantastic jump scares! It was the perfect, immersive start to a night dedicated to fear.
The Main Event: Monsters, Mazes, and More!
After that thrilling opening, we were led to the Calico Main Stage. The presentation kicked off with a high-energy dance number before the man himself, host Jeff Tucker, took the stage. But he wasn’t alone! In a huge surprise, he was joined by the iconic drag supermonsters, The Boulet Brothers, as co-hosts! Their chemistry, humor, and love for horror made the entire presentation an absolute blast. They then unveiled the full, terrifying lineup for 2025.
Two Brand-New Mazes:
Mary – The Haunting of Worth Home: A vengeful spirit, murdered and buried alive, returns with her legion of creatures to exact revenge on anyone who enters her home.
The Zoo: An abandoned zoo has become a lab for horrifying animal/human experiments, and the hybrid creatures have taken over.
Eight Returning Mazes (Two in their Final Year!):
Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman, Widows, Room 13, Cinema Slasher, The Chilling Chambers, Origins: The Curse of Calico, and for the final year, The Grimoire and Mesmer: Sideshow of the Mind.
Five Sinister Scare Zones:
Ghost Town Streets, The Gore-ing ‘20s, CARNEVIL, Forsaken Lake, and The Gauntlet (with a promised “updated twist”!).
Three Hair-Raising Shows:
The triumphant return of The Hanging in the Wagon Camp, plus Conjurers and Le Magnifique Carnaval du Grotesque.
An Exclusive Look: Inside the Fog
After the incredible stage presentation, we were escorted to the Forsaken Lake Media Lounge for an exclusive opportunity to speak with the masterminds behind the mayhem. The merchandise on display was outstanding. We saw the awesome new slider-focused design, but our jaws dropped when we saw a new shirt and hat featuring the fan-favorite popcorn bucket monster from the Cinema Slasher maze! The Food & Beverage display was a feast for the eyes, showcasing a ghoulish gallery of treats that we absolutely cannot wait to try.
The highlight, however, was speaking with Creative Designer Gus Krueger. He gave us a deeper dive into the two new mazes, but then he dropped a bombshell that connects the entire Scary Farm mythology: Mary, the vengeful spirit from Mary – The Haunting of Worth Home, is none other than Sarah Marshall’s sister! This stunning revelation links the brand-new maze directly to the lore of Origins: The Curse of Calico, creating a rich, interconnected universe of fear.
Masters of the Macabre: Makeup & Monsters
The night of exclusives didn’t stop there. We then witnessed the incredible artistry of the Scary Farm makeup team firsthand during a live demonstration. Watching them transform an actor into a gruesome creature right before our eyes was a true testament to the talent that brings these nightmares to life.
The entire event felt like a mini-Scary Farm night. Ghost Town was decked out in its usual spooky glory, and monsters were on hand, roaming the pathways and providing plenty of scares. It was a fantastic time and the perfect preview of the season to come.
The Final Verdict
From the immersive opening curse to the stunning lore reveals in the media lounge, the entire evening was a masterclass in building hype. Knott’s is coming in strong for 2025 with a lineup that is deep, creative, and full of terrifying fun.
Plan Your Demise: Event Dates & Ticket Information

Lionsgate debuted a new clip as well as three new character posters at THE STRANGERS – CHAPTER 2 MidSummer Scream Filmmaker Panel featuring panelists director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Exorcist: The Beginning), producer Courtney Solomon (After), and producer Mark Canton (Immortals, Den of Thieves), moderated by CBR’s Grae Drake.
In addition, THE STRANGERS – CHAPTER 2 was also featured at the convention in Lionsgate’s popular haunted maze activation, “Gears of Fear 2: Stranger Danger”!
Lionsgate will bring The Long Walk, the highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s novel directed by Francis Lawrence (Catching Fire, Mockingjay – Parts 1 & 2, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, I Am Legend) to Comic-Con® on Friday, July 25th from 3 to 4 PM. The Hall H panel, moderated by Eric Vespe and Anthony Breznican, hosts of the Stephen King podcast, The Kingcast, will include film stars David Jonsson, Tut Nyuot, Garrett Wareing, Charlie Plummer, and Mark Hamill, along with producer Roy Lee and screenwriter JT Mollner.
Today, in support of the upcoming panel, Lionsgate is debuting the film’s character posters.
Raymond Garraty, #47 (Cooper Hoffman): Underneath Ray’s easygoing manner is a passionate natural leader who’s deeply empathetic. His closeness to his mother makes participation in The Long Walk a tough choice. Ray and Peter emerge as natural allies and, over time, develop a true friendship.
Peter McVries, #23 (David Jonsson): Exuding confidence, gregarious Peter McVries is an aspirational figure. With a deep well of empathy and grit, he’s the spiritual core of the group, even as he grapples with the ghosts of his past that brought him to this moment. The brotherly bond he forms with Ray is a catalyst that challenges Ray’s value system as the gruesomeness of the walk intensifies around them.
Stebbins, #38 (Garrett Wareing): Called a “fitness nut” and “Superman” before the walk begins, blond-haired, jelly sandwich-eating Stebbins seems like the one to beat to his fellow walkers. He’s strong and tall with a tough exterior and also claims he hasn’t been sick in over 10 years. Full of facts and statistics, Stebbins seems to be the poster child for The Long Walk.
Arthur Baker, #6 (Tut Nyuot): Having grown up dirt-poor, Arthur is more than ready to undergo the punishing demands of The Long Walk for a lifetime of riches and the fulfillment of his wish: to travel to the moon in a space rocket. Arthur’s drive to win is grounded by his gentle manner and religious conviction.
Gary Barkovitch, #5 (Charlie Plummer): The self-appointed agitator of the group, Gary Barkovitch has a strategy to mercilessly taunt his co-competitors, while using his own camera to capture The Long Walk experience from the inside. But cracks start to appear in Barkovitch’s aggressive front after he’s targeted with his contempt and ridicule.
Hank Olson, #46 (Ben Wang): Street-smart, superstitious, and always ready to share an unsolicited and unfiltered opinion, Hank bonds with Ray, Peter, and Arthur to form a group they call “The Four Musketeers.” He has a deep knowledge of The Long Walk’s history and winning strategies, but will it be enough to sustain him when his body begins to fail?
Curly, #7 (Roman Griffin Davis): Curly is the pack’s youngest member. He lied about his age to make it to The Long Walk and is plagued by leg pain in the opening stretch. Ray forms a bond with Curly as he struggles to keep up with the older, more worldly walkers.
Richard Harkness, #49 (Jordan Gonzalez): Eager, bookish Harkness is an aspiring journalist who carries a notepad around with him during the walk to chronicle the journey for posterity. But Ray and Peter remind Harkness that to do that he’ll have to survive every last mile and — in the end — stand alone.
Collie Parker, #48 (Joshua Odjick): Parker, an Indigenous participant in the walk, exudes a tough exterior with those around him but deep down he’s homesick and scared. As the miles pass and the tensions grow, he develops an increasingly antagonistic relationship with Gary Barkovitch.
The Major (Mark Hamill): Known simply as “The Major,” there is not much known about this authoritarian true believer, aside from serving as the figurehead and originator of the grueling televised competition known as The Long Walk. Menacing behind his dark sunglasses, The Major barks slogans meant to both motivate and intimidate contestants, a ruthless enforcer whose mysterious connection to several walkers is gradually revealed.
Airship Interactive, a specialist game art and design studio based in Manchester, UK, partnered with HB Studios to bring PGA TOUR 2K25 to life — delivering high-fidelity characters and several full courses, along with their environmental assets that power the game’s realism and player immersion. The collaboration saw Airship contribute extensively to core game elements, including player models, environments, apparel, clubs, and accessories.
Following their successful partnership on PGA TOUR 2K23, HB Studios brought Airship on board once again — this time with a brief focused on modernised workflows and hyperrealistic quality.
“Airship Interactive’s work on PGA TOUR 2K23 set a high benchmark, so they were the natural choice for PGA TOUR 2K25,” says Peter Jones, Senior Production Director at HB Studios. “After two years of close collaboration, their team worked seamlessly with ours and played a key role in the final delivery.”
Building realism
Character design and animation are at the forefront of Airship Interactive’s services, so this was a significant focus when working on PGA TOUR 2K25. “Bringing real pros like Tiger Woods and Matt Fitzpatrick to life in-game requires incredible attention to detail,” adds Jones. “Airship understood the importance of balancing authenticity with consistency — the results speak for themselves.
“We used a mixture of tools and scan data to make sure we were highly accurate during character development,” says Joe Harford, CEO and Founder of Airship Interactive. “We also needed to maintain a consistent style to avoid the uncanny valley effect, which is why the core workgroup remained mostly the same throughout the process.”
Clothing was also an important factor because many in-game characters are shown from the back when taking their shot. Having high-quality apparel keeps players immersed in the game, despite not always being able to see faces. To ensure immersion during gameplay, Airship also had to innovate around player perspectives and apparel visibility — particularly from behind, where detail still mattered.
Creating new workflows
Airship Interactive worked in Unity, in conjunction with the HB Studios team, enabling rapid feedback on visual iterations.
“The Airship team was agile, responsive, and fully embedded in our pipeline,” says Jones. “Having a partner that could adapt to our tools and timelines made a huge difference in keeping development on track.”
“As an external partner, agility is in our DNA. We regularly adopt client toolsets and workflows to ensure seamless integration,” adds Harford. “We want to work with our clients in the easiest way possible, and that can mean switching to their toolset and adapting to their processes, enabling a smoother workflow throughout. The Airship team is equipped to do this, alongside constantly modernising and innovating for game development and design pipelines.”
Beyond character work, Airship also contributed to enhancing the overall realism of the game. To stay at the forefront of industry standards, the team dedicated time each Friday to internal skill-sharing sessions and collaborative development. These sessions ensured that everyone remained up to date with the latest techniques and innovations — and knew how to apply them effectively across the project.
Keeping in touch
“Alongside weekly training, I also believe that recognising the team’s hard work is integral to retaining high-quality visuals,” Harford says. “Airship champions its workers, and PGA TOUR 2K25 was no different — we 3D-printed the assets our artists created to give to them as gifts when the project wrapped. Every single person had a crucial role to play in the end product, and we want them to know that.”
Airship’s internal morale boosts were paired with constant communication with HB studios, hosting regular meetings, direct messaging, and having daily standups to set the goals and agenda for the day. Having this open and frequent communication means that the expectations are clear, enabling a smooth production process and mutual trust and clarity.
“We could tell Airship cared about their team and the project. That level of engagement and pride really came through in the final product,” Jones adds.
PGA TOUR 2K25 is available now on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Last night, at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, The Paley Center for Media hosted stars Diego Luna, Genevieve O’Reilly, Adria Arjona and Ben Mendelsohn, and creator/writer/executive producer Tony Gilroy and executive producer Sanne Wohlenberg, for a red-carpet screening event. Following the screening of Episode 209, Patton Oswalt moderated a Q&A to discuss the final season of “Andor.”
The final season of “Andor” takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound. Rife with political intrigue and danger, the series is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction—The Death Star—setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. “Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.
The final season stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Alan Tudyk, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, with Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker. The series was created by Tony Gilroy, who also serves as an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull and John Gilroy. Tony Gilroy wrote the first three episodes, with Beau Willimon writing episodes 4-6, Dan Gilroy penning episodes 7-9 and Tom Bissell writing episodes 10-12. The directors for the series are Ariel Kleiman (Eps. 1-6), Janus Metz (Eps. 7-9) and Alonso Ruizpalacios (Eps. 10-12).
The entire final season of “Andor” is now streaming, exclusively on Disney+. The Peabody Award-winning and Emmy®-nominated first season of “Andor” is also available on the streamer.

I’ve been a Razer user for years – I appreciate their build quality, even if the price tag can sometimes feel steep. However, my previous experience with their Enki X gaming chair (adorned in Kuromi theme) was fantastic! Looking for another gaming chair in the house, I initially eyed the Iskur V2 line, but the flagship V2’s price gave me pause. The Razer Iskur V2 X, positioned as the “essential” ergonomic offering at a much more palatable $300, seemed like a potential sweet spot, especially with an incredible warranty to back it up.
Unboxing and assembly were refreshingly straightforward. Razer seems to have this part down pat. The instructions were clear, all the tools were included (even a surprisingly decent Allen key and thoughtful extras like gloves to keep your gear smudge free), and I had the chair put together solo in about 20 minutes. I have heard that some people have even managed it in 10, but I like to take my time. It felt sturdy right away, thanks largely to the steel frame and base – a noticeable step up from the plastic bases common on cheaper chairs.
Sitting down, I noticed two things. First, the chair supported my mass as if I weighed 10 lbs. It is built to last and carried me effortlessly. The second thing I noticed was the fabric upholstery. Available in a simple Black/Green or a new Light Gray color scheme, it feels soft, smooth, and, crucially, breathable. This was a major draw for me, remembering how warm PU leather can get during long sessions, and having heard about some leather gaming chairs showing wear over time. This multi-layered fabric feels like it will hold up better, and it definitely keeps things cooler. The aesthetic is typical Razer – a racing seat silhouette, but perhaps a bit slimmer in the back than the premium V2. It looks sharp without being overly aggressive, professional enough for my home office setup.
Comfort-wise, the Razer Iskur V2 X makes a strong case for itself, especially considering the price. The high-density foam cushions feel firm yet supportive, molding nicely without that sinking feeling. They seem like a definite improvement over the original Iskur X cushioning. The seat base is noticeably wider than my previous Iskur, which I really appreciate. It allows for more flexibility in how I sit – even sitting cross-legged feels less cramped, and I tend to do this a lot. The 152-degree recline is generous and operates smoothly, offering plenty of range from focused work to leaning back for a break.
Now, the lumbar support. This is the Razer Iskur V2 X’s most defining – and potentially divisive – feature. It’s a fixed, built-in curve, not the fancy adjustable system like the one found on the $650 Iskur V2. My initial reaction was mixed. It felt pronounced, definitely offering more support than my previous chair, but I wasn’t immediately sure if I liked it. It took some time to adjust. For my posture, it works reasonably well, encouraging a more neutral spine alignment. I can sit for long hours, sometimes up to 12 hours between work and gaming, without the significant pressure points or backaches I’ve experienced in lesser chairs. However, because it’s not adjustable, its effectiveness is entirely dependent on individual body shape and preference. I can easily see how this fixed curve might not be right for everyone, potentially feeling intrusive or simply not hitting the right spot. This is where Razer’s 14-day return policy, if you buy direct, becomes quite valuable. It takes commitment for a company to offer such a return policy and I commend Razer for supporting their customers.
The armrests are functional, albeit basic. They adjust for height and rotate inwards/outwards (that’s the “2D” part), and the padding is pleasantly soft. One point to note is that the arm rest rotation doesn’t lock. You can accidentally knock them out of position if you put weight on them just right, which can be challenging. While a clear step down from the 4D armrests on the more premium Razer Iskur V2, it is a very understandable cost-saving measure. Another point is the lack of an included headrest. While not essential for everyone, I found myself wanting one for better neck support during reclined moments or longer sessions, so factor in the extra cost if you think you’ll need one.
So, after spending considerable time with the Razer Iskur V2 X, how does it stack up? For $300, it feels like a solid investment and a significant upgrade from generic budget chairs. The build quality feels reliable, the fabric is a practical and comfortable choice, and the core comfort elements – the foam, the wide seat, the recline – are well-executed. It successfully delivers on the promise of “core ergonomics” without the premium price tag. The major caveat remains the fixed lumbar support. It worked out for me after a brief adjustment period, but it’s the biggest gamble for potential buyers. Compared to its predecessor, the Razer Iskur X, the V2 X seems to offer tangible improvements in seat design, cushioning, and material longevity. Against the flagship Iskur V2, you’re trading significant adjustability (lumbar, armrests) and material options for a massive price saving. The Razer Iskur V2 retails for $649.99, more than double the price of the V2 X.
Ultimately, the Razer Iskur V2 X feels like a smart, value-oriented choice for gamers or home office users who want a reputable brand, good fundamental support, and excellent breathability, but don’t need or want to pay for highly granular adjustments. It occupies a compelling middle ground, offering more than the basics without breaking the bank. The Razer Iskur V2 X is available now for $299.99 and comes in two colorways.
