Iron Harvest Goes Behind the Music in this New Trailer

Deep Silver and KING Art Games today released a brand-new Iron Harvest video introducing the musical themes for the game. Listen to composers Adam Skorupa and Michal Cielecki as they explain the main inspirations behind their magnificent work while viewing artwork and visuals that inspired them. 3D Aim Trainer Celebrates First Anniversary

Gaming platform 3D Aim Trainer celebrated the first anniversary since its founding in June. The company, based in Dendermonde in East Flanders, Belgium, started as a passion project by competitive gamer Bernd Matthys and has since become a global success.

3D Aim Trainer is a training platform for gamers, designed to improve their first- and third-person shooting skills with a range of levels based on speed, accuracy and reactions.

The concept was originally conceived by Matthys in 2017 and a year ago, 3D Aim Trainer was officially founded. In just 12 months it has surpassed 5 million users in 190 countries and continues to go from strength to strength, with time spent in-game per user tripling up to April 2020.

It is this increase in time spent on the platform that pleases founders Bernd and Miquel Matthys and Robin Haegeman. For them, it suggests the platform is fulfilling its purpose of helping users become better gamers – with them investing more time in practicing core gaming skills.

However, it’s not just user performance data the team focuses on when judging success. 3D Aim Trainer is endorsed by its users, including top esports competitors, teams and influencers. The mobile app versions of the platform even currently boast 4.5-star reviews on both the Google Play and Apple stores.

It’s this feedback the team at 3D Aim Trainer value the most – as active members of the gaming community themselves, delivering a product that improves the gaming experience for their peers brings them the greatest satisfaction.

Capping a successful first year for 3D Aim Trainer, the business has fittingly been announced as a finalist in Esports Insider’s ‘The Digital Clutch’ – a start-up pitching event, in which the winner secures sponsorship and mentoring from an esteemed team of industry experts.

The Belgian-based business is not sitting back on its success, though, with ambitious plans for the next 12 months. These include launching their aim training game on the Steam store – a move which would see platform exposed to its near 95 million active monthly users.

The 3D Aim Trainer team is also keen to offer academic training for its users, including an aim training course. For the founders, gaming is more than just a passion and they’re keen to share their knowledge and build on their platform offering to help esports competitors of the future.

3D Aim Trainer is also planning to host more gaming tournaments, keen to give back to the community and the next generation of gamers.

Reflecting on a successful debut year, Bernd Matthys, Co-founder at 3D Aim Trainer commented:

“I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved in its first year. When I began developing the training platform, it was to help me improve my aiming skills, as I felt there was not a sufficient product on the market. What began as a hobby has since turned into a global platform that has helped millions of likeminded gamers.

“We have big plans for our second year, including expanding our global reach and helping as many gamers as possible to improve their shooting skills and gain a competitive advantage.”

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Details

KOEI TECMO America and famed developer Kou Shibusawa are excited to announce Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack, the latest addition to their historic simulation franchise that has been a staple in strategy gaming for 35 years. The expansion pack is scheduled to release in Early 2021 in North America on the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System and digitally on Windows PC via Steam®, while also making its series debut as the first ruler-based Romance of The Three Kingdoms game on Nintendo Switch™.

The Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack is loaded with new possibilities, including trade with great Eurasian empires — including Rome and India — allowing for even broader strategies to unfold on a path to unify China. But that’s not all, as the expansion pack also introduces cities of foreign forces onto the map. Apart from conflicts in the central area, armies will now need to deal with intensified border clashes, upping the stakes in every skirmish.

In addition, new geographical advantages will be assigned to each province, so the strategies gamers will be able to choose from will vary dramatically depending on which provinces are conquered. For example: Conquering Qing Province expands the area you conquer, while conquering Yo Province allows you to open up trade with the nomadic tribe of the region, making the order of which province you conquer first now vitally important.

New officer characteristics and special tactics have also been added, along with new buildings for specific topography, a calendar that enables you to reflect on previous activities in the game, and an all-new campaign entitled “War Chronicles Mode.”

AMC Games Unveils New Trailer for Airplane Mode

Today AMC Games released new details for the upcoming flight simulation game Airplane Mode, including the announcement of a 2.5-hour flight option from JFK to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Previously AMC Games had announced a six-hour option from JFK to Reykjavik only. Moreover, AMC Games also announced that Bennett Foddy, the Australian-American video game designer most known for QWOP and Getting Over it with Bennett Foddy, will play the role of the captain for both flights.

“Six hours can be a big investment of time, so we’re happy to offer this shorter flight option for players who want to experience Airplane Mode on a tight schedule. And for those folks, I have just two words: O, Canada!” said Hosni Auji, Airplane Mode’s creator. “We’re also excited to have Bennett lend his voice to a key member of our crew. As an early advisor on the game, he helped mold it into the singular and somewhat quirky experience that it is today.”

Announced last November at the Desert Bus for Hope Marathon, Airplane Mode encourages players to sit back — but not too much, this is Coach after all — and experience the Zen-like routines of commercial flying.

A spiritual successor to Penn and Teller’s cult hit mini-game Desert Bus, Airplane Mode lets players enjoy the pulse-pounding exhilaration of flights lasting 6 hours or longer — in real-time — complete with crying babies, spotty wi-fi, turbulence, and a delicious fish or chicken dinner. Will the listlessness become an invitation for your brain to play? That may be just what you need to successfully arrive at your destination.

Here are just a few of the things you can do in Airplane Mode:

  • Grab a window seat, and stare in silence at the slowly passing clouds as you try to make time go faster through sheer force of will.
  • Experience a more realistic depiction of how people really fly than even the most ambitious AAA flight simulations launching in 2020. For example, players can enjoy the myriad delights of their carry-on luggage, including a book, and a pen. And headphones!
  • No learning curve! Players can pick up and play without the need for extensive tutorials, instructions, or — strictly speaking — consciousness.
  • Other flight simulators give you high-definition cockpits with a billion switches and dials, but Airplane Mode is the only one that offers a realistically rendered seatback trays.
  • Enjoy an inflight safety video from AMC Games’ “slightly off” network sibling IFC.
