In the run-up to the release of Season 2 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown on December 11, Alain Jarniou, Creative Director, and Guillaume Guinet, Game Director at KT Racing, today present a Dev Diary on the new features, improvements and functionalities to come, based on player feedback.

Season 2 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown kicks off on December 11, offering all players a unique experience in the heart of the Mediterranean. This season comes with new content exclusive to Ibiza: an additional map, a 25-level Solar Pass, free for all players, new cars (including the iconic Ferrari California from TDU2), a new dealership acting as a social hub, as well as weekly events allowing players to win various rewards (customization elements for their avatar, customized deliveries). To access the new content, it will be necessary to reach reputation level 12, choose a clan between Sharps and Streets and complete the proposed mission.

In response to the criticism expressed by players, the KT Racing teams continue to work relentlessly on gameplay improvements and the development of gameplay features eagerly anticipated by the community. This season’s additions include 1080° steering wheel rotation, fully animated in cockpit view, proximity voice chat and a rebalancing of AI difficulty levels, one of the points most raised by players.

In addition to adding new content, the priority for the developers today is to improve everyone’s experience of playing TDUSC, so that it does justice to the series. As a result, the initial plans for Season 3 have been adjusted to incorporate features and content that players have come to expect. More information will be revealed at a later date.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (or TDUSC) is a massively open online racing game (M.O.O.R) set on Hong Kong Island and soon, Ibiza city, recreated on a scale of 1/1. A true racing, lifestyle and social experience, players can personalize an avatar in their image, become a member of a clan, explore more than 600km of roads, or even participate in the numerous competitions available in-game, at the wheel of more than 100 racing cars.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).
