Today, Respawn Entertainment and EA released Patch 9 for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which brings substantial performance improvements for various PC hardware configurations and the removal of Denuvo DRM.

Plus, an upcoming PS5 update will enable save file transfers from the upcoming PS4 version of the game (releasing Sept. 17) to the PS5 version.

Here’s what Patch 9 brings to the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor:

  • Framerate improvements for various hardware configurations.
  • Smoother gameplay with fixes for several sources of framerate hitching
  • CPU usage for Ray Tracing has been optimized, and Ray Tracing now scales better for high-end GPUs.
  • Denuvo DRM has been removed
  • Various quality-of-fixes, including improved mouse-and-keyboard control across many in-game menus
  • Bug fixes for rare crashes and collision issues
