Six Flags Great Adventure will welcome guests back to Wild Safari and Savannah Sunset Resort beginning April 3, marking a key milestone in the park’s 2026 season. The reopening coincides with the park’s Safari Spring Break Celebration, running select dates through April 12. From April 3 through April 12, the park will operate daily, with the theme park open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wild Safari open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Operating hours are subject to change and are available online.

Wild Safari, one of the largest safaris outside of Africa, is home to more than 1,200 animals representing six continents and offers guests an up-close look at wildlife across expansive, naturalistic habitats. Adjacent to the safari, Wild Safari Base Camp reopens April 3, offering a standalone wildlife experience at the main safari entrance. The area features animal encounters, educational presentations and interactive experiences designed to deepen guests’ connection to wildlife. Savannah Sunset Resort offers a glamping-style experience set within the Wild Safari, featuring luxury accommodations, sweeping savannah views and immersive wildlife encounters that create a one-of-a-kind overnight experience in the region.
