CCP Games is launching the Free Trial for EVE Frontier this Wednesday, April 1, to Monday, April 13, inviting players who register as ‘Remnants’ to experience the space survival game’s immersive galaxy for free. Players can create an account on www.evefrontier.com and download the game during the Free Trial, which takes place during the game’s fifth cycle, Shroud of Fear.

EVE Frontier is an in-development space survival game for Windows and MacOS set in a hostile, player-shaped galaxy. Players inhabit Riders – awakened clones with no memory – who must build, explore, and form Tribes to survive. Cycle 5: Shroud of Fear introduces player-driven clone production (“Shells”), in which skills are embedded and permanently lost upon death. The update also expands the galaxy with persistent Orbital Zones, dynamic Feral AI, deeper base building and defenses, and refined traversal and combat systems that increase risk and player decision-making.

During the Cycle, players can earn Grace through missions, combat, and cooperation, climbing individual and Tribe leaderboards. Grace can be retained after the Cycle with Founder Access.
